Came in while visiting my parents for the holiday. Love the Christmas decorations “It’s a Wonderful Life” is a tradition in our household, so this was a nostalgic moment. I got the matcha with oat milk and the seasonal snickerdoodle flavor. SO GOOOOOOD!!! It was the perfect amount of sweet but not too much. I didn’t get to grab any food but I’d drink that matcha latte again without hesitation. Service was warm and friendly as soon as I walked in and quick to deliver my drink.

The kids ordered the 1 ft pancakes. They we HUGE! Very tasty. Service was excellent (Fiona was our server and so sweet, highly efficient and very personable).
All food ordered was excellent in flavor, presentation and nice portions. Highly recommend as it’s a little gem in the middle of nowhere. We will certainly be back.

Very nice coffee/light lunch spot. Great breakfast sandwiches served all day. Additional sandwiches and salads for lunch. Love the Wildwood and Uptown Chicken Melt. Delicious baked goods.

Older storefront in downtown Sylvania – lots of exposed brick. Nice views of the downtown area.

Order/pay at the counter and staff brings food to the table – not a big issue but having staff come to the table and take orders would be nice.

The place itself is lovely. The food is good. Unfortunately the cashier’s attitude was rude, which spoiled the experience. Because of that, I won’t be returning.

Buyer Beware: Came through a couple months ago and had a fantastically memorable sandwich . On a recent stop I decided to try Chandler’s again. The Rueben immediately caught my eye so I ordered it. While the sandwich was good, it was NOT a Rueben. What I got was a corned beef sandwich on a marble rye with creamy cole slaw. Read past the name so expectations are not dashed.

Shrink-flation is real at this place. I’ve been here 3 times, and each time I visited this place to eat, the portion sizes of the food get smaller each time and get more expensive. I’ll admit, I absolutely love the food here. It’s simple and delicious. But dang, my money is going to waste when I come here.

For example, today, I purchased a wrap, a cookie, and a “tall” smoothie. The total came to about $25, and I always like to tip the workers, so add another couple of bucks to that. For all of that, was it really worth $30? Absolutely not. Sure, I should’ve looked at the prices more carefully, but I wanted to treat myself. Yeah, that was a mistake on my part.

I’m very disappointed and can no longer return to this café because it’s getting too expensive. Please do better, Chandler Café.

I feel like this place is a waste of space honestly.. It would be a lot better if it were a diner.

Great food. Small and overpriced imo, but otherwise solid and reliable.

I walked in and stood there wondering if I get seated. Nobody looked or said seat yourself. I went to the bar and sat, and sat and 2 people made eye contact, and never said anything to me. I began to think it was just me… So after maybe 10 minutes total, I decided to leave. The young lady eating close to the door asked me..” Still?” I smiled and walked across the street.
