Good food and really, really nice staff. It’s an excellent local spot and worthy of a try from anyone. They do standard grill food and frozen stuff you’d expect but they have a local flair that they bring and you always feel like you’re eating at a friend’s place. We have been many times and have never had anything short of a spectacular person behind the bar. Good people!

It is your typical Midwest tavern. I had the Philly and it was delicious. It is not served in a hoagie bun, but on a big burger bun. They also have a double ribeye sandwich.

The place was fun on a freezing day in December. Our food was just so so. The chili was just hamburger in a broth, not much flavor. The fried mushrooms were just breaded bits, not tops. I enjoyed a nice cheeseburger but my grandsons grilled cheese was just two pieces of buttered Texas toast and slice of American cheese. The drinks were cold, wait staff was attentive and prices ok. Please make a better chili, it is not that hard. Good food means good business.

Stopped in on the way home from Springfield. Great food….had Schnitzel on special…our guys had them do a Schnitzel Horseshoe! It looked amazing….and I had a Sad Steer Burger. Also AMAZING!!!!

We called for a party of 8 with 45 min to kitchen close and they were happy to accommodate us. I was surprised! The parking lot is small but there are street options and pulling up late at night was questionable as we weren’t familiar with the area. However, upon entry it was new and clean inside. The staff and owner family member were absolutely amazing to us! 6 of our party were kids and they acted like hooligans coming out of practice. They enjoyed the pool table and being wild and no one had issues with it. The food was very reasonable and cheap while it was excellent in quality! I’m always scared to try cheese sauce at new places but the kids got it and I tried it, it was excellent! Absolutely worth the stop and we will be back as often as we can! The local eatery option blows out any chain, any day!! 5 stars for friendliness, cleanliness, tolerance , and food!! Stop by and support the small business!

Went there the night of a hot air balloon festival. Only 1 cook and 1 waitress and the place was busy. They did an excellent job of getting the food out in a timely manner. It was hot. Everyone was nice and the beer was cold. Everything was delicious.
