Reviews
The concept was explained to us clearly and throughly and lots of knowledge was given about the products which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was lovely, fresh and indulgent! It did really feel like being on holiday in the French alps again.
The champagne flight was a highlight and looking forward to seeing what more is on offer during the summer
Welcome, attentive & friendly service throughout. Ordered 2 ‘French Kiss’ cocktails – vodka, champagne & chambord – delicious.
Had a DUO, a sharing charcuterie & cheese board with baguette, served with sundried tomatoes, grapes, gherkins, baby peppers & an olive tapenade. Beautifully presented, excellent quality & quantity & we were able to personalise our choice of cheeses from the 43 varieties they have available. Perfect.
Highly recommended!
We ordered olives, fondue for two, two side salads and even ended up having a cheese board.
The fondue and cheeseboard were delicious! I wasn’t too keen on the potatoes. They seemed small, cold and not very well done (roasted). They kept dropping off the skewer.
We really enjoyed our champagne choosing experience with the waiter that served us. It was throughly enjoyed and unexpected. The bottle we chose was perfect. Thank you. The champagne on offer is of very good quality and there is something for everyone’s taste.
I didn’t love our seat in the far back of the restaurant close to the kitchen. It lacked atmosphere down there. It’s not cosy or intimate. The seating felt more like an American Diner and unlike the rest of the restaurant.
We would happily come here again and recommend to others.
After being served my food, there seemed to be a service black hole. After finishing my meal, numerous staff passed me noting me sitting twittling my thumbs. Had to stand up and make eye contact with a member of staff to get someone to come to my table.
Wonderful food, would like a better wine selection but it is a champagne bar. What lets this place down is customer service. Fix this and you will have a winner.
This review focuses mainly on management and value for money. The cheese boards and food in general were nice, but I was expecting something a bit more special — perhaps a selection of cheeses we could see and choose from, or meats displayed and freshly sliced in front of us, especially for the price.
The total came to around £120 for three people, with champagne at £14 per glass — a little on the steep side for what we got.
We then had camembert cheese for starter, then we both had boeuf bourguignon with a side of roast potatoes. The flavours was amazing.
Can’t wait to visit again and hopefully next time we will get to try the deserts as these also looked amazing but we was too full to try them.
Well done to Leanne and her team you are all doing an amazing job.
Highly recommend
I just love champagne and cheese. The staff are amazing. I will go again on the 27th.
