Champa kitchen is out go to place for halal pho. Their spicy beef pho, seafood pho are delicious. In fact, everything we have tried here has been flavorful. We visit this place at least once a month because the kids love the noodle soup. The meat is light, and you never feel heavy afterwards, even after gorging on so much meaty food. The rice is soft and fluffy and the salad veggies are tender but crunchy. The owners are warm, welcoming and always polite. Highly recommend this place.

Amazing service and food is excellent. Felt very well taken care of even though it was very busy. Enjoyed the chicken fried rice, shaken beef, paratha and walnut shrimp. Highly recommend.

For those looking for a halal pho restaurant — good news!
Champa Kitchen in Los Gatos serves halal Vietnamese soul food with beautiful broth, savory flavor, and finger-lickin’ goodness. ✨ Totally worth the trip!
The popcorn chicken is a must-try, and it sounds crazy — but you have to try the fried rice too!

We recently visited the new Champa Kitchen location in San Jose, and it was such a great experience. The old location was one of our favorites, so it’s really nice to see Champa Kitchen back in the Bay Area again.
They serve halal Vietnamese food, which we truly appreciate, and it’s especially thoughtful that they also provide a prayer space. That’s something you don’t often find, and it makes the restaurant feel very welcoming.
For food, we ordered the spring rolls, the paratha, the beef pho noodle soup, and the Champa rendang slow-cooked beef. Everything was delicious — the flavors were rich, comforting, and clearly made with care. The pho was satisfying, and the rendang was incredibly tender and flavorful.
The atmosphere is casual, but the space is clean and comfortable. You’re not coming here for a five-star fine dining experience, but the quality and taste of the food absolutely stand out.
Overall, we’re so happy Champa Kitchen is back, and we’ll definitely be returning soon.

Soups are good. Flavorful and just the right amount of spices.
I wish they used better cuts of beef to add more depth.

I’m so glad that they reopened at this new location! This is one of my favorite restaurants in all of the Bay Area. My favorite dishes are the shaking beef, and lamb curry. You will be thinking about the shaking beef for weeks guaranteed!! The food was halal, and we also really enjoyed the popcorn chicken, the fried basil was amazing as well.

Wow I was devastated when they closed and now I’m so happy they have reopened under same ownership. The taste is 100% just as good as it was before , maybe even better. I highly highly recommend the shaking beef. One of the best items I’ve ever eaten. While it is pricey, the serving sizes are good and its worth every cent.

Truly some of the most delicious and tender beef I’ve ever had. You must get the shaking beef when you come, it is melt in your mouth delicious and ask for it spicy if you like spice. Truly outstanding, we also got the bon bu hue which was comforting and so flavourful and the beef rendang was also packed with flavour. I would honestly keep coming back just to have the shaking beef! It was also nice and clean and the food came out in a timely manner + place to pray!
