Chamo’s House Venezuelan Food

We finally got to come back yesterday and I was still happy with my food but not the service so much. We drove all the way from Springfield with this place in mind. when we first walked up, there were two ladies sitting there that appeared like they were part of the family / employees. One was blocking the menu, After Going around her and having to stand way too close to the menu to read it because of her not moving,,, I looked over and it looks like her twin sister is staring at me. Like why? Then a guy inside the taco truck asked me if I need help. This all is a pet peeve of mine! People looking at me while I’m trying to read & trying to rush me to order! I was already feeling sick, Therefore not in a great mood. I would be frustrated with the stares regardless. I was thinking about trying something different to eat this time but after that I just Defaulted to my original order, which is not like me. I always want to try new things. This also distracted me to where I forgot to order something else.
So I’m sorry to the guy that I was rude and I just want to explain why.
Then after I got my food, my rice was in a much smaller container than before. In the end it was all still really good though. The light green Empanada sauce and tomatillo hot sauce both is amazing! I pour on my rice and dip my empanada in it.

We had one bean empanada I thought I ordered it with cheese but oh well it was great anyway and one shredded beef empanada a side of rice and hot sauce another sauce. wonderful food and service!

I ordered arepa llanera. Amazing! Several proteins made a large entree and the spices were delicious! Definitely recommend trying this Venezuelan cuisine!!!

We got Emphandas and Arepas. They were delicious!!!!! The Mango Juice was the highlight on a hot day though. Everything is made by hand and perfection!!!!!

Food was absolutely delicious I’d never had venezuelan food before and now I’m hooked. the service was perfect since the food was served quick and hot and the guy who took our orders was understanding and helpful with recommendations and the fact of my butchering every name on the menu. Absolutely a perfect 5 stars I do recommend!

This was my first time trying authentic venezuelan arepas. I had the satisfying and delicious arepa pabellon. To drink I got a cold refreshing mango juice. With this great service and wonderful food. I do recommend this place. They served my with fresh salsa picante and garlic sauce on the side to dip it or pour it on my arepa.

I’ve never tried Venezuelan food before. We tried the beef and cheese arepes, tequenos and a chicken empanada. Everything was AMAZING. wow. The kids tried everything and loved it as well. You have to stop by and give them a try. I’ll be back for sure.
