This is a great restaurant, tucked in an old courtyard with beautiful and spacious seating area. Great for dinner. All the food we tried was above expectations, with amazing flavors and quality ingredients. Recommend the palm heart salad, grilled goat cheese for appetizers, lemon pasta and ribeye steak. 5/5 service and food.

Absolutely fabulous dinner! My husband had the sea bass which he rated 5/5. I had the beef tenderloin with cab sauv reduction sauce… it was out of this world good! Perfect medium as I had ordered. We started with the hearts of palm salad which also was excellent mostly due to the lovely dressing which I don’t know how to describe… slightly creamy but tangy rose? Great service, lovely atmosphere! Highly recommend for a special dinner.

Situated in a quiet romantic patio in the middle of town, this restaurant headed by a Mexican chef has surprisingly good high-end food.I had a steak with sautéed spinach and a wine sauce, with mushroom raviolis. Good looking, creative, delicious! Will definitely be back!

What a delicious surprise! We stumbled upon this restaurant as we were looking for a nice place for lunch—and we love French inspired food. The covered courtyard is so pretty—calm and quiet. The menu was extensive ranging from appetizers and salads to lighter dishes and full blown mains. Our food was more than delicious! We can’t wait to return.

With so many choices to dine in San Miguel – where do you go for dinner? Well, you go where a dear friend and one of this town’s best restaurant/owner Chefs says he takes his girlfriend to dinner. It is a place with nothing but rave reviews by guests from all over the world. We glided across the street for we had reservations at Chamonix. It is a quaint little French restaurant, not in the picturesque town of the same name in the French Alps, but right here in town. The perfect romantic spot for my darling’s Birthday. We dined on hearts of palm salad with succulent shrimp and Escargo in a Camembert sauce with a cold crisp Pinot Grigio. On to a filet in a red wine reduction, Sea Bass surrounded by mashed potatoes, and a medley of vegetables with a silky red Margeaux. To finish, a delectable orange Grand Marnier crepes Suzette. Muy romantico, a candlelit dinner as the electricity went out, but mouth-watering course after course prepared lovingly by this Chef originally from Mexico City but who trained in Barcelona. The Phantom Gourmet just has to concur with those who have gone before, nothing less than Four Silver Spoons will do! Merci beaucoup Madam Chef Ana Lilia.

This truly is one of San Miguel’s true gems. The space is romantic, classy and so inviting. It’s one of those places where you actually have a hard time deciding what to order because everything is also good. Service is wonderful. The quality is fabulous and the prices are so more than fair. It’s not that common in San Miguel to get such quality for the price. Dead Center of town and in all the years I’ve been going, I have never been disappointed. 1st restaurant on my list for 2023. Don’t miss giving this gem a try.

My wife and I ate here a couple of weeks ago. She had a seafood pasta alfredo and I had a steak (not very FRench, I admit). Both were delicious and the service was impeccable and friendly. The small courtyard we dined in was beautiful. A must go place.

Not was we were expecting. There was no French/Alpine food on the menu other than a sub par onion soup that had no cheese. They were out of a few menu items as well. Main courses were fine, just lacking authenticity at any level.
Atmosphere and service were above average.
