We ordered several dishes for take out. The chicken lollipop or butterfly chicken was raw inside. It wasn’t undercooked. It was raw. I had already taken a bite, when I noticed, because the texture was so strange. We live 20 minutes away, but we’re told we needed to bring it back for a replacement. Why would I want a replacement? I called and told them that I didn’t want anyone else to get sick, and was concerned about the well being of their restaurant. The managers (I spoke with more than one) were extraordinarily rude, and didn’t believe that their chicken could be raw. They refused a refund without seeing the chicken. While I understand why, I can’t believe the arrogance and the lack of concern about something that’s a big deal. Raw chicken is no joke. Additionally, the quality of their food has gone downhill. While it’s always been hit or miss, it’s gotten worse.

I ordered Beryani. The rice was sticky and super moist like the Chinese rice, and the meat was very rare. I threw away more than half the dish because it has no meat and it doesn’t taste like Indian food at all.

Ordered goat karahi and palak paneer. Softest goat I had had in a long time and the palak paneer was spicy and hot, perfect to dip with the garlic naan. Will definitely come back for more. The goat wear so good I ordered one to go.

Butter chicken was very good! Expected more flavor from the chicken biryani but it was nice. Can’t wait to try pomfret to see if it’s good 🙂

Being a Bengali and a Bangladeshi I am really proud and happy to find this Bengali restaurant in the heart of Dallas. I ate their Special Beef Tehari, and Dhakaia Biryani and I am overwhelmed by the authenticity of their Bengali biryani cuisine! I felt I was literally brought back to Bangladesh!! This is the biggest compliment I could ever give to a restaurant in the US.

We had chicken roast, chicken biriyani and Kacha golla. The roast was pretty good. But the chicken biriyani wasn’t really chicken biriyani; the taste wasn’t bad, but it was not biriyani. The color is yellow like khichuri, not a khichuri either. The price for chicken biriyani was only around $7 for enough food. Anyways, the food was pretty good overall. Roast should come with more rice.

Food was tasteless and very greasy. I asked for mild flavor atleast 5 times during my order as my kid will be eating the food and still got spicy. Ordered chicken, fish, vegetables and they all tasted the same. The portion was very small for the price. Will never be going there again.

They sale authentic Kacchi biriyani, which is full of goat smell. Mango lassi tasted old. Requested owner attention regarding the kacchi, didn’t show a courtesy visit while we were in the restaurant. Not recommended.
