We came hearing it was Navajo owned, and wanted to support an indigenous establishment. The food was excellent, had to wait a bit as I’m thinking it’s on a cook to order system, as they dont have a ton of people coming in. So it was fresh and hot! Ordered comfort Navajo food. The roast mutton was a little small IMO even with the extra meat. The 4 ribs plate was a good portion, according to my foodie sister. My mom enjoyed her hamburger steak. The entree comes with one side choice and side of available stew. Waitress was attentive and hospitable. Overall the food quality was worth the price. ✨️

First time trying this place out… Never again. Should of went to Docs in Kirtland. Took awhile to get seated. Waited to get a drink order and even longer to get the drinks. They didn’t have half the menu. Waitress was a bit too much. When we finally got our food. Disappointed. Fry bread was stiff and hard to break apart. Tortilla was just as bad. Old and depressing. This is not the place to get a Navajo meal. Also the restaurant had a weird smell of dirty rags. DISGRACE TO NAVAJO FOOD!

This place just opened up last week in what used to be a Mexican restaurant. Their startup menu is interesting, with a mix of beef steaks and mutton dishes.. We tried the Navajo taco; the steamed corn mutton stew; and the dumpling buttons do. All three were good. I think between the two stews my favorite was the steamed corn mostly because the mutton in it was more of the lean meat. The Navajo taco was well done and typical of what you find in quality Navajo tacos around the area. One interesting thing to try is the iced Navajo tea or something they call Sun devil tea! The staff were friendly and answered questions about the menu. I believe they are available for dine in and carry out.

Oh wow! Best steak in Farmington. Most steak places overcook or under-season their steaks. I enjoyed every bite of the T-Bone (King of Steaks) but next time I am going for the Tomahawk.
My wife has the Filet Mignon that melted in your mouth. So good.
The loaded baked potatoes were excellent.
The main highlight was the tortilla. Made like grandma was in the kitchen.

For my first time being, here, this place was 4 and a 1/2 stars. The food was excellent. My dumpling stew so delicious so much flavor in it. And then when you add your chili, mmmmmm. I even took a mutton sandwich to go. Pricing here was fair due to the high prices everywhere else. I think drink price here a little too high here. But that’s my opinion. I’ll definitely be back to try more food here. ❤️❤️

It was our first visit here and one of the worst I’ve experienced in town. The waitress had no knowledge of how the menu functioned. She mentioned it was her 3rd day. I would assume someone would train her for more then just a couple of days. Only 1 couple in the restaurant but the service was awful. The waitress only checked on us once or twice. We dropped 100$ for withered food. My kids didnt eat their Navajo Tacos and I had to take out my lettuce and tomatoes from my Navajo burger. Tomatoes and lettuce looked a couple days old. Lettuce was brown and bitter, tomatoes soggy (pictured) I let them know but they didnt apologize or try to make it right. Even found an onion skin. Definitely not worth what we paid for. They didnt give us our extra side of fries and frybread, which they tried to charge us for. I had to run to the bathroom so by the time I came back to our table, food was delivered. My husband told me that the waitress was heading to the back to put the order in but never came back with any extras. I made sure when he was paying for the food that they wouldnt charge us the extras. Definitely dont recommend the navajo taco and burger just go to a food stand. You get better quality and better customer service.
Also the restrooms are located exactly next to the dishes that are being used in the kitchen. Literally like walking through the kitchen. Im one to think that anyone can cough or sneeze on all those dishes while walking through. Or kids touching them.

Ordered the special, it was steak and fries. Great portion and it was tasty. The staff were very friendly. I would come back. 4 stars for the wait time.

When we got there we waited like 5 minutes to be seated. We waited about 15 mins for a guy to take our order. My son asked for a coke and the waiter said “Sorry we ran out of soda, we only have Tea and water”. So no sodas there, we all ordered iced tea. Then I ordered roast mutton sandwich. Then the waiter said “Sorry we all out of mutton.” Like FR!! So I ordered a buffalo burger with fry bread. Our wait for our food was 30 mins, which wasn’t so bad. My burger meat was so small and the fry bread was big (shown in pic). Maybe because it was ground buffalo meat. My mom had elk burger and same thing small meat. My daughter had Navajo burger and it was slightly bigger meat. My son loved his Navajo taco. The food was greasy… like clog your artery type. We also had to fight the flies to keep them away. My grandma ordered spam and tortilla and it was a thin slice of spam and tortilla, lol. Her tortilla was tough she was having trouble chewing it. Our waiter never came over to check on us. Just gave us our food and ran off. Restroom too was clogged and gross. Really disappointed in my experience but food was good and fries delicious.

Just isn’t welcoming. Our drinks finally showed up after our cool stew arrived (not hot), it’s supposed to be lamb they said but it’s tough like goat and few tiny pieces. The tortillas seemed to be made the day before. The tortillas were hard and thin. We kept asking for refills through to the end of our meal..no refills ever showed up. The table we sat at was greasy, so we moved and found that all tables are greasy. Go to shiprock for navajo cuisine, and inviting atmosphere where they know how to make stew and flap bread. Another thing i should mention is my wife’s stew had a long woman’s hair in it. So check your food.

They started out good , & have gone down the toilet. We had to wait 90 minutes for our dinner. The owner pointed fingers & blamed made several racial comments. My wife bought a 1/2 mutton . We got it home the back side was covered with mold.. this guy will not survive
