Looks can be deceiving. The plates were attractive and that is the kindest thing I can say about the entrées. The restaurant was not busy but we waited at the door for almost 10 minutes before being seated. Ok. There were only 2 servers and they both had a couple tables each. This was our first visit so we took a few minutes to look over the menu. We settled on appetizers (fried pickles ($8) and potato skins($10) to share and a bowl of house chili ($7.50) (as a starter for the husband. The fried pickles and sauce were absolutely delicious. A decent portion for the price. 3 potato skins with sour cream on the side were ok – greasy but after adding a little salt and pepper they were ok. The chili arrived and was room temperature. It was tasty but cold chili didn’t make a good impression. Our server was friendly. It took a long time for the food to arrive. The plates were very nice looking. The Steak Tip Poutine ($18) was five pieces of steak on top of cold congealed gravy on top of cold weirdly dry handcut fries (that seemed baked not fried). The Fish and Chips ($20) were generously portioned. The fries were cold and tasteless. The fish smelled so bad I tried to eat it but couldn’t. The fish was served extremely hot but the breading immediately separated from the fish and again, the smell made it impossible to eat. It was haddock but I couldn’t get past the smell. The Uncle Tim’s steak ($22) was the only meal we bothered to take home. The comment made was “I’m hungry and not picky” but apparently the mashed potatoes were very good. Yay? I was so excited to finally get to try this restaurant. $92 (plus $20 tip for the server) made for an expensive one time trip.

The food was good the service was great. But for a 100 degree day they should have the ac going it was hot and unpleasant to eat and drink.

First time here in passing with family. The appetizer and entrees were actually excellent and super great portions. Servers seemed eager to please. Environment was comfortable. Service was reasonable and timely. It is a must-stop in the area. Thank you!

food should be served hot, not cold. ordered steak tip poutine and got 6 little burnt pieces of steak and cold gravy and fries. the appetizers were cold and bland. fried pickles were cold and chewy yet the dipping sauce was tasty. the server was very nice and friendly when she was there. staff was very inattentive to our needs. wife ordered fish and chips. fish smelled rancid and fries were ice cold. when you talk to the owners about the service and food they shift blame and will not compensate even though they watched the cameras. if they watched the cameras they can clearly see that our service and food was horrible. Definitely will not recommend anyone to go there until these issues are corrected.

This town has been in desperate need of a restaurant that isn’t a diner or pizza place. I came in hoping Chamberlain’s would fill the hole left when Brian’s headed to Bethel. The place looks real nice and is clearly family run. I had chili, which was very good (but a little too salty) and a fried chicken sandwich on a biscuit with sausage gravy and provolone. It was delicious. Hand cut fries and a biscuit smothered in gravy and chicken. The prices were very reasonable. My only concern is that the menu was pretty small. There is a full bar and a friendly staff.

Our server she was very sweet and attentive. Food took a while to come for being only 2nd people in the place.
But it was correct and delivered hot and delicious. My only thoughts really are the atmosphere as in decore was very dark and dull. The lighting was nil for being night time. Making reading the menu a little challenging and walls and curtains so dark.
Beautiful decore but not right place I think.
Also even though I was seated next to a heater o don’t believe any of them were ever on . And it was very cold in the establishment. And I’m not a person to be cold ever often or easy.
However over all. Most definitely recommended!
The importance of the eatery is there. People, food and services. And for what we got the price was pretty good too! It was my first time but not last.

Visited with my husband and my in-laws for his birthday. The atmosphere was good and it wasn’t too crowded. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The menu had some great options and it was hard to choose. I got the Carmel apple sangria drink special and it was delicious. The one downside of our meal was that my mother in-laws steak tips were over cooked. She didn’t want to be a bother so didn’t say anything until after the meal. The waitress apologized and discounted the dish since it was too late to fix it. Overall a good experience and we will be back.

We had a very pleasant dinner on a dark and stormy night. Wait staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. We had an opportunity to meet the owner, who pleasant and friendly. Our steaks were tasty and tender and our cocktails were well made and large. All in all we could not have had a better evening.
