I took my adult daughter here. We had the all you can eat barbecue. We also ordered a side of kimchi fried rice. Hands down the best kimchi fried rice I’ve ever had. The kimchi was also phenomenal. We got to meet a wonderful lady need Tzarina, who is apparently the person who made the recipe for the kimchi and kimchi fried rice. This was a wonderful dining experience and I would recommend it to anyone everything had just the perfect level of spicy and we both enjoyed it down to the soles of our feet

Cham Garden is amazing! Fresh, flavorful meats, great sides, and super friendly staff. Love getting to cook my own food — always a fun and delicious experience!

You cannot eat alone here!!! It’s two people at a minimum. This is a self service all you can eat. You get up to get your own meats and side dishes. The items were fresh, but some the side dishes were questionable on how long it’s been out. Service, food and atmosphere overall were great. The parking lot is small and finding parking during lunch hour was a struggle.

An amazing hole in the wall all you can eat Korean BBQ. There are only a handful of tables so either be ok with waiting or get here early. But it’s worth it!

This used to be our favorite k-bbq spot — I’m not sure if they’re under new management or have had recent staff turnover, but the service is currently a huge bummer. About 50 minutes into our 75 minute stay, we were brought our check. Not a big deal, but a new experience based on what I’ve seen of Cham Garden before. A little less than 10 minutes later, our waitress came over, asked if we were done, and immediately stated clearing off our table while we still had food on our grill. While I was still eating, she asked for our kimchi plate — I was like “Oh, I think I’m gonna finish that.” I’m not sure what happened, exactly (if she didn’t hear me, if she wanted us out early, or what), but she stood around for a second and then asked again, only leaving after my husband re-iterated that I was gonna finish the kimchi. Only after she left did I realize she had actually turned off our grill while there was still food on it. Again, this was 60 minutes into our 75 minute allowed time, at most. My husband had our waitlist text to verify we were far under our allotted time. We were pissed. I could see turning our off grill had we overstayed 20 minutes past on a busy night after having been asked politely to leave, but there was a table open next to us and we were significantly UNDER the allowed time. I never thought I’d say I wouldn’t go back to Cham Garden, but we’ve officially found reason to find a new favorite k-bbq place.

Cham Garden is a very great Korean All-you-can eat spot to try out! The parking is kinda a pain, but it’s completely worth it. The restaurant is pretty small compared to a normal Korean BBQ spot, so reservations are a must! Once you are seated, you are given a little slip that you fill out, and the staff picks up at your table, which includes soft drinks, tea, water, and alcohol. You mark what drinks you want and they bring it to your table. The slip also has rice bowls and veggies you can not get from the self-serve area so please mark what you want and the quantity requested. The side dishes and meats are all self-serve the drinks are not. The staff will always make sure your drinks are full and if you need anything else (Grill change, more rice, and veggies) they’re is a very wild selection of sides and meats all range from Pork, Beef, and chicken. Their is also a ton of sides Kimchee, Fish cakes, bean sprout, kimchee radishes and cucumbers, and much more! For two people around the lunch special we’ve paid around $60 for two so it’s a bit expensive to be honest but worth every penny. But remember, please be mindful of the food you take because wasting food, including side dishes, will cost extra. If you’re around the lakewood area and don’t wanna drive too far, Give Cham Garden a try they won’t let you down! Will surely be coming back!

Walked in to give this place a shot. Was greeted with a 2 person minimum to eat. I was offered takeout but I was not interested as I wanted to sit down and do the lunch buffet. There was seating available so I thought I might get an exception this one time. Oh well.

This is a smaller KBBQ place and they don’t have a huge variety of meats or side dishes but they have the most important ones and it’s absolutely delicious. Also very reasonably priced. Best value KBBQ I’ve had in the Tacoma area.

We had a wonderful meal at Cham; the food was excellent and the grilling experience was quite fun. The staff were attentive and friendly, and they kept the buffet full. (The beef bulgogi and beef brisket were excellent, as was the Cham rice.)
The menu system will probably be a little bit complicated for newbies, so clarification with your party guests may go a long way.
The restaurant was clean, as were the restrooms. (Plastic gloves for the buffet would have been appreciated.) Overall, we were really pleased with our experience and would gladly eat here again!

Went on Sunday 3/27 you can now get your own meats and sides. Don’t have to order from that menu sheet when covid was strict. You do have to wear your mask getting your food. Tried most of the meats, all good. The sides, kimchee’s etc are good too. Ordered Kim Chee fried rice but that took time getting to our table. Everything was good
