A good Indian restaurant for comfort food. Visited multiple times and their quality was consistent. Their biryanis are good, they do serve hot dosas. There is plenty of vegetarian options. Located in the crossroads mall with plenty of seating.

It’s a mall food court so you don’t come here for the atmosphere or ambiance. This is really good Indian food. It’s flavorful, well cooked, good portions and authentic. They are consistently good which is a key sign for a well run restaurant.

Butter chicken is really tasty. Portion is enough for me. Presentation is also nice (decorated with drips of cream and chopped cilantro). Basmati is fluffy. Price is also affordable. Even serving speed is fast. Overall everything is great. I’ll be sure to come next time!

Absolutely Unacceptable Experience at Chakra Bellevue

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The customer service at Chakra Bellevue was outrageously rude, hostile, and completely unprofessional.

The masala dosa I was served was so soaked in oil that it was literally floating, making it impossible to eat. When I calmly raised this concern, instead of apologizing or offering a replacement, the staff blamed me, accused me, and spoke in a disrespectful and aggressive manner.

The behavior was so rude and humiliating that despite having already paid for the food and leaving a very good tip, I felt forced to walk out without eating anything. No customer should ever be treated in a way that makes them leave a restaurant hungry after paying.

There was zero accountability, zero courtesy, and absolutely no concern for customer satisfaction. This experience left me frustrated, embarrassed, and angry. A restaurant can make mistakes with food, but treating customers this badly is inexcusable.

I will never return to Chakra Bellevue and strongly advise others to think twice before dining here.

Sumptuous South Indian fare made fresh every day; having grown up with nothing but fast unhealthy food in USA, this is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a food court EVER!! This time, I tried their Veg Combo of two Curries and opted for GLUTEN-FREE Dosa—a staple accompaniment in South India whether for breakfast or lunch. (Don’t forget to ask for Coconut and Tomato Chutney for you’ll miss a huge part of the TASTE difference and experience of South Indian cuisine) Curries enjoyed this time: Tomato Dahl and Paneer Butter Masal (North Indian dish)
You can double up on the Curry if you would like and your meal includes fresh made in-house Basmati.
Thank you for the excellent service and for letting me learn with you.

Update:

Their price has increased a lot, but the quality of the food has went down the hill. Their lunch combo used to include one meat, one veggie and one soup, now it is just one bowl of meat. Anything extra will be charged more. The Naan bread is dry and tasteless, the Masala chicken is also dry and tasteless. I do not recommend going to this place, given the current circumstances.

=================================

I have eaten there multiple times. Food is great overall, and their portions are generous. However the quality is inconsistent. The butter Naan bread was delicious at one time, then under baked and covered with oil another time. They mutton sukka is very good, soft and tender, full of flavors. Chicken Tikka Misalla however, is bland, and the chicken meat is hard and lack of flavors.

I have visited Chakra, an Indian restaurant located inside a shopping mall, multiple times, and I must say that it has consistently impressed me.

The prices offered at this establishment are quite reasonable, making it an attractive option for diners seeking quality Indian cuisine without breaking the bank.

One of the highlights of my experience at Chakra is their delicious filter coffee. Served with finesse, it provides a delightful blend of flavors and serves as a perfect conclusion to a satisfying meal.

I particularly enjoyed their gobi chill, which was prepared to perfection, showcasing the chef’s culinary expertise.

The wait time at Chakra is relatively short, typically ranging from 10 to 15 minutes. This efficiency allows customers to quickly be seated and indulge in their delectable offerings. The extensive menu provides an abundance of choices, catering to a wide range of preferences. Notably, Chakra excels in providing excellent South Indian food options, adding a unique touch to the overall dining experience.

My family is originally from Chennai (South India) and I miss my mom’s cooking so much! This is the first place in the US where the food tastes authentic. Everyone here is super friendly (say hi to Muthu and he’ll show you how to drink filter coffee the Indian way!). This is a must try. Do not miss!!

I had the opportunity to taste their filter coffee and Utthapum today. Wonderful.
Their filter coffee reminded me of my days decades ago in Bangalore, India. And the Sambhar served was just Great.
Thanks

The food is tasty. I ordered samosas and Chilli Gobi. Both were served crispy and hot. However, the Chilli Gobi was a bit spicy. The taste was good. There was a little bit of queue on the weekend.
