Visited here after a family friend recommended it.
Atmosphere and service was amazing I just felt the menu wasn’t really to my taste and they dont really care to stereotypical British Indian cuisine and was more traditional. It was nice to try something different but I wouldn’t return. Flavours and colours were beautiful. I’m just a boring tikka masala kind of girl.

Stopped here while travelling and I’m so glad I did! The sheek kebab was absolutely ultimate perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The dum biryani tasted really good too, though the portion felt a bit small. I also tried the chola puri, which was different from the usual style I’m used to, more like a bread version, but still enjoyable. The lassi was perfect and refreshing, again just a smaller portion. The cheesecake is definitely worth trying, a great finish to the meal.

The ambience and service were excellent, and the prices are not expensive at all. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would definitely come back again!

The vege Manchurian was amazing, the non vege platter was alright, butter chicken was nice but a bit too sweet (despite it saying no sugar) and the lamb shank biryani was good.
Their raita was nice

Went here last weekend and my night was so great I needed to write a review! Food was amazing, we had paneer and lamb chops to start then the monkfish curry and prawn curry for main. All cooked perfectly and big pieces. The service was outstanding and they made great deal to come around to each table to chat and make sure everything was ok. Will be back soon thank you very much

Drove an hour to get there from Darlington as the Indian restaurants there are terrible (from an Indians point of view). Went as it was the daughter’s birthday. Party of five.

The food was amazing.

We had chicken 69, hawkers fish fry, pressure cooker lamb curry, Paneer Lababdar Masala, daryaganj butter chicken, loads of different naans, rice, maharaja non veg platter, tandoori malai broccoli and bomb masala chips.

All were so good. Left totally stuffed.

Staff are great too.

Definitely visit again.

Unfortunately the food looked that good we forgot to take photos until it was nearly gone.

Pressure cooker lamb served in a little pressure cooker. Genius

I personally don’t understand how this restaurant is rated 4.9 stars. Booked a table and arrived on time. Took a while for them to take our drinks order then had to wait for our food order to be taken after that. We ordered three starters between the two of us. Only two of the three starters arrived and we had to ask where our third starter was. They forgot to do it. We had finished the other two and I even went outside before the third one had arrived 55 minutes after we first sat down. The mains came out and I can honestly say this is not authentic street food. The rice seemed microwaved and everything was just very basic, might even describe it as quite bland. The staff aren’t attentive at all. Had to ask the man behind the bar for drink refills as we were ignored at the table by more than one waiter. To top things off, they add a service charge on your bill. I think it’s better if they’d ask you if that was ok first.

We booked a table for four at 18:00. On arrival straight to table. Tables are tightly packed to one another, so not to private for conversation. Short wait for menu and drinks orders.. A nice menu selection. The quality of the food was excellent.

Let down by an over zealous waitress, as soon as a plate or bowl was emptied she would clear it. But in doing so leaning accross my face whilst I was trying to eat, with her elbow and hair in my face! She could only access from the one side of the table.

The automatic 10% service charge is annoying, I could have asked for reduction, but from experience it just becomes a confrontation.

An excellent meal on all accounts. Quite busy but seated quickly for our reservation. Took a while for a waiter to take our order and food did take a while (nearly 40 minutes), however all dishes were impeccable, came out together and was some of the best Indian curry we’ve had yet. We usually do not pay optional service charges but on this occasion were more than happy to. We would recommend this to anyone looking for good value and great quality Indian food.

The food was absolutely beautiful, hats off to the chefs. Our server Richard was very attentive along with all other staff members. If you like a Smokey cocktail then we would recommend the Garam Masala Old Fashioned Cocktail, the barman did a fantastic job. Overall the full dining experience was amazing. We will definitely be returning customers. Thank you.
