The best part of the experience was the view. The dining experience was disappointing. We ordered shrimp cocktail which took awhile to arrive and was warm. Odd. Ordered 2 salads both with salmon added. My salmon was dry. My dining partner said hers was fine. Tried to order the flour less chocolate torte for desert but they were out at 7pm on the Sunday of a holiday weekend. Had coffee served in a French press luke warm and weak. So overall if you want a cocktail, a great view, and mediocre food this is the place.

A very beautiful place. Arrived and restaurant was upstairs. Have two options. You can go upstairs or take elevator. We took the stairs. Which leads to back of restaurant. The elevator brings you right to the person who sits you. We walked around and as I walked through I noticed the rooms on the side of restaurant with couches. Nice touch if you are just having drinks. Cool little spot. The view on the deck was outstanding. This all before we even sat down. It’s a quaint place. Not big but has alot to offer. We sat. Enjoyed the ambiance and the sunlight coming in just brighten up the place. We had ordered two salads. The waitress was attentive. We enjoyed our night. As we left we looked around. Cool little spot.

Stellar location and views overall, food mediocre, ordered 2 cheeseburgers medium both were well done, would’ve sent them back but server didn’t come back for 10-15 minutes. French fries were fresh cut but tasted odd. Signature Cocktails are about $16 average. Lastly they don’t accept cash! Won’t be back anytime soon I’m local. At 3:30 on a Thursday experience was less than noteworthy.

I got food poisoning from this restaurant. We made a reservation, and upon arrival there was no one to greet us. Getting seated took 10 minutes. Our food order was wrong, tasteless, and arrived an hour after we were sat. We also ordered some Diet Coke which came bland and flat. The one waitress was also the bartender. The views are nice though! However, I got sick not even 15 minutes after leaving this restaurant, and was sick all night. Do not recommend this health hazard.

I visited Chair 5 on Sunday evening, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The service was extremely poor, and our waitress gave the impression that she simply didn’t care about us as guests.
It took 20 minutes after being seated for her to take our drink order, and another 20 minutes after that to actually receive the drinks. Although water was provided when we sat down, our glasses were never refilled throughout the entire meal.
Once we finally received our drinks, we placed our food order and then waited another 45 minutes for the dishes to arrive. During that time, our waitress never checked on us—not once—to see if we needed anything or wanted additional drinks. We didn’t bother ordering more, knowing it would likely take another hour.
When the food was eventually brought to the table, she dropped everything off and walked away without providing napkins, utensils, or basic condiments like salt and pepper. We had to flag down another waiter, who was clearly very busy yet went out of his way to help us. He was attentive, apologetic, and made sure we had what we needed—even assisting us again later when we needed the check.
By contrast, our own waitress never apologized for the delays or lack of service. After learning that we had voiced a complaint, she became openly rude for the remainder of our visit. She neither apologized nor thanked us when we left, which solidified our decision not to return.
We were told afterward that she might be relatively new, but what we witnessed wasn’t inexperience—it was rudeness and unprofessionalism. She showed no concern for her job, no respect for her customers, and no awareness of how her behavior reflected on the restaurant. For these reasons, we will not be back. For privacy’s sake, I will not mention her name, but I will say this: she was blonde, arrogant, and dismissive.

Great view on the rooftop patio. Very cozy feel with an upscale beach house vibe. Food was okay for lunch. Didn’t have cocktails.

Unfortunately my visit to Chair5 on 7/30 was disappointing. While I can understand that there was only one waitress and one bartender, it was exceptionally slow. A round of drinks took roughly 30 minutes to come to the table, and our food arrived staggered, 2/3 people in my party received their sandwiches and the final plate took an additional 10 minutes to come out. The burgers were delicious, but arrived cold, as did the fries.
Chair5 has great views and a selection of drinks and food, but I would recommend adding staff, whether that be waitstaff, or additional kitchen staff. Many other patrons around us had the same experience.

My wife and I shared the Crab Cakes, we loved the sauce and portion size. I got the baked cod and she got the ribeye panini. Need the recipe for the scalloped potatoes.. The two bartenders were quick to make our drinks and get us seated even though we did not have a reservation. Wonderful way to spend our night
