First time to Frisco and to Chai Wallah. Amazing ambience. Good place to hang out with family and friends . Didn’t order food so don’t know exactly how it is but loved the Iranian chai. Very refreshing. Overall such a great place to hang out. Better and more affordable than Starbucks. Will definitely be back.

In one sentence, price you are paying is for sitting there. That’s it. Pathetic service, once we entered the staff didn’t properly clean the table and gave us the sitting spot. No one said you have to go back to the desk and ask for the menu then go back to them to place an order and pay in advance. On top you are paying tip for service that you have not experienced yet. So after waiting 10 minutes i asked at the counter and they handed over the menu. Food items are overly priced, I mean look at the sice of kabab roll for 13$, it was a tiny bite, you can get a way better serving at even most expensive restaurants. Kashmiri Chai cup is 5$ and others are 4$. After placing the order i was wondering that do we have to cook our food as well or go into the kitchen to get it. Anyways food was served after another 15 minute wait.

So you go here for the chai and the atmosphere, but the food we tried was pretty disappointing, and I have to say expensive for the portion sizes. In the picture you see the mini beef nihari roll that was so small that it was a kid portion and even the meat was burnt and had a weird flavor. Fries and Irani chai were okay. That said the ambience and seating was quite unique and the place had a nice vibe to it.

Aesthetically, it is a beautiful restaurant. Drinks are solid and authentic. My group did not order food, so I can’t say much about that. Each drink is between $3-$5, which is much more affordable than Starbucks for comparable drinks.

The food here was perfectly spiced and served in the appropriate quantity and temperature. Come with an open mind if you are expecting a masala chai. Their chai is more focused on regions not typically available to taste here in the states.

Visiting from California, this place was recommended by local friends. Went there as a larger group yesterday (~20 guests). This place is beautifully decorated with many seating areas. A lot of care is taken in design and decor of this place, and it shows.

Great Chai, amazing food as well. We ordered Kheema Paratha, Malai Boti Roll, Roohafza Chiller, Cholla Poori and it was all great. Loved it. Some sofas were broken and some sofa spots were worn down. Also they don’t take away plates fast or make sure if you have spoons, forks etc. Which is the reason why I am giving them 4 starts and not 5. But I think it’s all good quantity food and drinks.

The ambience is amazing felt very cozy and romantic. The food was also tasted good and hot. But man the price is expensive. 3.99 for plain paratha with no side dish.. 10.99 for chicken and egg roll the quantity was so small.. I got to say the food tasted good..
