The food here is AMAZING
I took my wife here for Mother’s Day with our 3 kids. Everyone left happy. They have good beers from around the world too. I had the crispy grooper and my wife had Pad Tai cashew chicken. I also had the Happy Boy sushi roll and it was DELICIOUS too.

Great food great atmosphere service was nice and I don’t have to wait that long so I ordered from kids menu, which is shrimp tempura and small ginger salad. Small salad was good. Shrimp tempura with sauce was great and I wouldn’t tell the same thing with the fried rice that comes with shrimp tempura. It’s kind of dry and I didn’t like it at all. I would not recommend you to get a fried rice at all. Other than that, everything was great.

I SEE HOW THIS PLACE IS FULL OF LIES AND PRETENCE AFTER READING OWNER’S REPLY I AM SO GLAD I LEFT A ONE STAR REVIEW. We were excited to try this but we ended up being very disappointed. We waited for 10min before anybody even greeted us. After another good 15min wait we were finally seated, we waited for yet another 15min and had to get up and walk to the waitress to ask if they do table service/free to take our order. Food was terrible: ginger salad was a few chunks of my fist sized lettuce head unchopped, topped with a blob of grated ginger. Tom kha soup was lukewarm, with roots of shallot (I wonder how much dirty soil went into my soup). 2 types of sushi rolls we ordered were huge and messy and tasted so blah. The Pad Bai Kra Pao (famous Thai dish)we ordered turned out to be some terribly done watery Chinese stir fry / watery Mexican fajita looking dish. We hate wasting food but had to give up on this meal. Also, I have had Thai food and Japanese food growing up in many different countries including Thailand and Japan, this restaurant tops the “worst” list. Had to walk to get my check since waitresses were only prioritising cleaning up tables and do not lay their eyes on their customers. 3 other tables left/changed their dine in to take out. I honestly don’t know how they get all the good reviews – was this just our bad luck on their bad night or was there a recent change of chef / management???

We have been here several times and ordered both sushi and Thai food, and both are fantastic! The servers are very kind and check on you often. The sushi is a great value for the amount that you get! Would highly recommend the Panang Curry and the Super Crunch Roll.

I used to really enjoy coming here, but my last visit on 1/30/26 was very disappointing due to the service. Our server, Adalyn, was not attentive at all. The restaurant was not busy, yet she checked on other tables multiple times and never came back to ours.
We had to ask another server just to let her know we were ready to order. When she finally came over, she was rude while taking our order. After that, we again had to get a different server to check on our food. Thankfully, that server helped us and even brought our meals out. The food ended up taking nearly an hour.
When Adalyn did return, she seemed to have an attitude, as if we were an inconvenience. It was very uncomfortable and honestly took away from what should have been an enjoyable meal.
The food here is good, which makes this even more disappointing. I hope management addresses this, because the service did not match the quality of the restaurant.

This used to be my favorite sushi place in north Florida, I noticed new menus and new servers so I’m assuming it’s not the same place it used to be. Fish was not fresh, sticky rice was microwaved? I’ll give it up for the crab Rangoons though I actually like these better than the previous ones served here. The service was alright, I mean they took my order and gave me my check when I was done eating, nothing special. I hope they can change it up- most importantly the freshness of the fish

This is literally the best sushi I have ever had. As my mom says they have spoiled us and ruined sushi from any other place. The rolls are absolutely worth the price and are the biggest I’ve seen. I love the variety of options for the rolls. I usually order sushi so I haven’t ventured out to the Thai side of the menu that much. Their Thai food is so good as well, the pad Thai, gyoza, and teriyaki chicken are so good. The decorations and the friendly servers as well as their delicious food keeps us coming back and back again. I wish they had a rewards system or punch card because we go here so often.

I visit this restaurant frequently with friends and family and there is not a single negative remark I can say. The sashimi, nigiri, and sushi are all remarkably unique and the flavor combinations are the best! Also, their large dessert selection has something for everyone. For the price you’re paying, it is totally worth visiting Chai Thai & Sushi!
