We visited Chai Shai TX and honestly had an amazing experience from start to finish. We tried the Hunter Beef Burger, Philly Steak, Puff Patties, and their Chai, everything was super delicious and perfectly cooked.
The chai was the highlight – rich, aromatic, and exactly the kind of comfort drink you expect from a place with “Chai” in the name.
Overall, a fantastic spot for Desi comfort food with quality you can taste. Definitely going back. highly recommended!

Chai Shai is such a cozy little gem! Nestled in the Hillcroft area, it instantly feels welcoming. Everything we tried was delicious — from the chicken puff and chicken corn soup to the papdi chaat, mixed chaat, classic burger, and the comforting rice with daal. Even the tea hits just right. The place is clean, charming, and beautifully set up, making it a spot you just want to linger in. It really feels like a little haven for good food and good vibes.

What a pathetic taste and Sooji halwa had a mash potato texture. Pakistani breakfast could never be that worst so it wasn’t at all Pakistani taste or texture.
We as customers spend hard earned money just to change a taste bud and such experiences where no taste no qualitY ruins everything and make us feel guilty at the end.

Amongst the appitizers, the Kashmiri Chai, samosa chat, chicken and beef patties were great! In the entrees, the beef Philly sandwich and club sandwich were good, the zinger burger tasted ok but was full of mayonnaise and a little too soggy, the cheese burger was gamey and the least liked.

The customer service was warm, friendly, and very attentive they really make you feel welcome.Their samosas are perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the lassi was refreshing and authentic.It’s the perfect spot for a quick bite or to relax with friends over tea.

In my opinion they make good snacks chat and khausay. But biryani that we ordered was below average. Felt like they just mixed some gravy with rice with kachay alu. You can order snacks from them but dont go for biryani if you know what good biryani tastes like.

Ordered to go here once and I really loved it and decided to bring my family here for dinning and words can’t describe how disgusted and disappointed I was from the food that we ordered with excitement to try. We ended it up finding 2 bugs in our food while taking a bite it’s beyond disgusting!! wondering how the food is being prepared in the back. Is this how you guys serve food calling it halal? And after that my little sister got sick from her food that we saw the bugs in. And I’m sorry to say this but restaurant business is not for everyone.
