A great place to have a relaxing evening by yourself or with friends. The owner was quiet friendly and helped me pick a an arab tea according to my actual taste bud. The cake was super moist and different flavors burst into my mouth. Overall 10/10.

I recently visited Chai Qahwah Lounge in Selden, Long Island, and it was a fantastic experience! I ordered the Adeni Chai (Yemeni) and it was absolutely delicious. The aroma of cardamom hits you right away, and the flavor is perfectly balanced—not too milky and not overly strong. It lands right in the middle of savory and tasty, making it an excellent choice for both chai lovers and first-timers. The sweetness is mild, which actually enhances the flavor even more.
I also tried the Baklava, a traditional Egyptian sweet dish, and it was amazing—super flaky and packed with flavor.
If you’re nearby, definitely stop by Chai Qahwah Lounge, whether on your own or with friends. The vibe is welcoming, and my server Ali Nawaz was very helpful, offering great recommendations and providing excellent service overall. Highly recommend!

The whole experience was great. From the staff, the cleanliness of the place was top tier, the diverse menu, and beautiful ambiance. I learned about this place from a TikTok. And the experience in person was so much better. The seat was comfortable and very well placed to give you space to enjoy the experience. I went there with my husband on a mini date night for tea and dessert. The tea was amazing!!!! The chocolate tres leche cake was out of this world. I will definitely go back. The staff was so kind and pleasant. They greeted us warmly and explained the expectations of how to use the space. It was a take your shoes off and place them in a shoe rack at the entrance of the dining room. We were all in bc we have a shoe free home. The ordering was easy using a QR code and an app. The menu was so diverse. It was a great experience. I can’t wait to go back and go for a meal. I hope they have upcoming events. A great way to have a cultural experience without going to the airport.

Went here around noon during the week and it wasn’t busy which was nice considering it was relaxing. The atmosphere was nostalgic. Shoes are left behind before stepping on to the carpet. I really like the idea of the real middle eastern feel when dining and enjoying your tea/coffee at this spot. The owner was very knowledgeable and helped with choosing treats and drinks. Really a great place to unwind by yourself or to enjoy with your significant other/friends. Be sure to try the sand brewed coffee!

Loved the middle eastern, mediterranean vibe of the restaurant! Great customer service and huge variety of selection of coffees, teas and snacks! A new restaurant opened 7 months ago and I highly recommend giving them a try. My kids loved the Falooda and he also offered free sweets for us to try. Me, my husband and mom tried chai tea and some snacks and everyone loved the teas and the food. Loved the experience. Highly recommend.

I am truly so happy to see a place like this open in Suffolk County! Really hoping this plays stays! The drinks were absolutely amazing and the options were great. We got the very special cardamom iced milk with pistachios, organic matcha latte, and Moroccan mint tea. We also got the cold baklava as dessert. The staff were super nice and hospitable. He even gave us extra baklava’s, and made sure our drinks were perfect to our liking.
The aesthetics of this place deserves its own paragraph. I absolutely love the middle eastern style, and decor. It’s an amazing place where you can bring your friends to have a nice chat and drink tea, coffee, and more. They also were serving shawarma when I went, even though I did not get a chance to have it they may add small appetizer like food to the menu. They have games onsite for you to play while you’re lounging with friends. It’s extremely clean and I like that they ask you to take off your shoes before you enter the seating area for further cleanliness. The lamps and the lights were beautiful as well. Truly enjoyed it, and I hope this place becomes even more popular after Ramadan once everyone is able to come hang out with friends all throughout the day. I’m not sure if they will keep the hours this late but as of March 2024 they are open until midnight.

Beautiful cafe with exotic ottoman like interior. The drinks were just ok, not as spiced as we’d like and compared to other Yemeni/middle eastern cafes offering Adeni coffee. The milk overpowered the spices drinks for the Persian chai and the yemen Adeni coffee on the menu we got. The Afghan digestif tea was good and simple.

New favorite place! A unique and authentic cafe that you must try. The owner was seriously the best, really cool atmosphere and yummy treats and drinks. We tried different types of Baklava, and other goodies, and two types of chai. Everything is organic and fresh!!! Perfect place to catchup with friends

Great local spot for chai. We ordered an Adeni Chai, Matcha Latte, and Dubai Chocolate. They have so many options for drinks and snacks. The place itself is nicely furnished and cozy. We will definitely be back to try the rest of their menu.
