A great place! Went on a Saturday night. It was not busy at all, but i think its just because people dont know its there or how amazing the food is! Excellent flavor! The staff was kind! Prices are decent. If you want a great sandwich this is a must to visitA they actually have a huge menu & we were told they are extending It! It can b e overwhelming to choose , but if you like options , it’s great! I definitely will go back to try more items!

Great place to watch the game and get some really good sandwiches. We had the Cajun chicken sandwich with grilled jalapeños. I can’t remember the name of it. The sweet potato fries were thick cut sweet potatoes that you could tell did not come from a frozen bag. So good! Can’t wait to go back.

Chance offers an extensive menu with competitive prices. The food was amazing! I have to go back to try the fajitas. A must order is the dill pickle appetizer. They hand bread them and fry them in a light batter. Best I’ve ever had. The staff was friendly and were helpful when choosing my meal.

Chadd’s Bistro is the kind of hidden gem that leaves a lasting impression—and coming back after all these years felt like reuniting with an old friend who hasn’t missed a beat. The last time I was here was in 2016, when my brother and I used to load up on mouthwatering pastrami and turkey Reubens, alongside the freshest salmon salads money could buy—and I’m thrilled to say the magic is still very much alive. Chadd’s new space is warm, family-friendly, and filled with that same welcoming energy that makes you feel right at home. The quality of his craftsmanship hasn’t dropped an ounce; in fact, it might even be better. Every bite was finger-licking good—easily one of the best deli sandwiches you’ll find outside the Big Apple. Thank you, Chadd—you’ll definitely be seeing me again!

I had a very disappointing experience at Chadd’s Bistro and unfortunately won’t be returning. While my half Bistro Roast Beef sandwich was pretty good, the rest of the meal fell short. The French Onion soup was essentially just broth and rye bread. They griddled some cheese on top and added parmesan, but it wasn’t great. My wife’s chicken noodle soup was even more unappealing because it was as dark as the French onion. It really seemed like it was made with beef broth rather than chicken.

Other members of our party ordered pancakes and those were the biggest letdown. Both the regular and blueberry pancakes were nearly burnt on the outside yet undercooked and doughy in the middle. One pancake and it’s plate even had black griddle residue on them, which gave the food a bad, smoky taste. To top it all off, the service was lacking. I don’t recall our drinks ever being refilled, and we sat with our coats on for 10 minutes waiting for the bill. We eventually had to get up and ask the waitress for the check ourselves after waiting nearly 15 minutes.

The poutine was very good, but it could have had more gravy. The fries were hand-cut & did the heavy lifting. I had a cheesesteak. It was okay, but the steak wasn’t shaved like I prefer on a cheesesteak. Almost was more like a fajita sandwich.

Stopped in for brunch, he had the breakfast plate and I had Italian sub. Fresh baked bread for all the sammy’s and subs. Hand cut fries. DELISH!

I come here all the time, and it’s easily one of my favorite spots. The Smokey Kyle and the poutine are top tier ! The atmosphere is perfect whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or bringing the family out. I’d say I’m a regular at this point and it’s great hanging out with other regulars and chatting it up. This place is truly unique, with hundreds of games to choose from and beer selection. The liquor options are huge, and the bartenders are always on point. The cooks are just as solid and a lot of what they serve is made in-house. Don’t even get me started on the happy hour prices. For the quality of food and drinks you get here, it’s definitely a bang for your buck.

While I think most ratings are over-rated (e.g. Taco Bell at 3.8), this one is truly worthy of 5.0. Cool-vibe casual atmosphere, including both a bar and library, coupled with great food with inspired by northern Michigan and French Canada. The fries are among the very best!
