Dine in was great. I’m a BIG CHACHO’S FAN from them only having Callahan/10 & Bandera open.
Besides construction still going on & it appearing closed they are BACK
Food & Service was good, atmosphere will get there & prices great for these days.
You place your order at counter bet a buzzer & pick up your food when ready. I’m excited. Chips given complementary.
Today was a little different on food choices then norm. Hamburger was ok, chicken fajita tacos salad AWESOME & individual bean & queso nachos good. Same self serve salsa bar selection & fountain drinks as before. .Jack & Coke & Top Shelf Marg DON’T Disappoint. Sad it was not very many people but I’m sure when everyone knows it’s open it’ll pick up. Drive thru has 2 lanes & margs to go
Absolutely discusting with numerous tables with plates and yeah even a liquor bottle left??? Will never return, much less visit any chachos. Cierralo …
No one manning the registers inside.
Ordered 2 steakhouse fajita tacos and a margarita.
That one (Everclear) margarita did the trick!!
The salsa bar was well stocked and everything tasted fresh.
Received the SMALLEST, most underfilled tacos I’ve EVER eaten at a Chachos – EACH FOR $5.29!!!
Also the meat was shredded like barbacoa. Huh? That is not Steakhouse fajita!
I promptly returned the tacos and they remade them, but they reused the tortillas which had somehow dried out during the rebuild.
I received way more filled tacos with properly cut fajitas. Sadly they were a tad salty.
Maybe the crew running this joint needs sometime to figure things out?
Note: I posted a picture of the rebuilt tacos.
I have to say thank you to David at this location. When we went he was manning the front. Taking orders, payments, dealing with orders issues, serving chips, going table to table top make sure we needed anything, even running to the back to cut us limes. Cherry on top is his attitude, he brings and brought the ambiance up at this establishment. As busy as he was, i still felt valued and i can tell the other patrons enjoyed their interactions with him. Can’t wait to go back.
I ordered a lunch specials chicken enchiladas. I figured it would have the same sauce as cheese enchiladas but was slightly disappointed it was just white cheese on top. I didn’t see the mango Pico that use to be available. The salsa that was available was mid. Tortillas were soft. Tea tasted slightly bitter or like the tea bag was left inside too long. It was okay after drinking it a while. Not my favorite. I might try it again another time but this location is kind of far away. I saved the menu to review and see what I would want later if I go again.
Lunch specials are about $10 and under. Best bang for your buck .
Some people don’t see the blessing of having a job compared to those who really struggle. This is ashame. But i will not judge the rest of the beautiful employees who helped me out. Thank you and you’re appreciated.
