The food reminds me of when I was a kid growing up. The Asada burrito was great with the side of pickled jalapeños, onions, and carrots. The hot sauce was good too. The churro was good also. To me the food is here is great. And also not too pricey.

We decided to try this place since it’s a new place in our neighborhood. We will say for the most part the food was good. But what was very unattracting was when we asked for chips and salsa, they told us sorry it’s cost $5. Because it comes with cheese. But we don’t want cheese. Sorry it’s the same price, even if you don’t want cheese. Really? That’s so sad. What Mexican restaurant do you know, makes you pay for chips that you have to pay for the cheese that comes with it, even if you don’t want it? That’s ridiculous. To me that it’s bad management and customer service. I don’t care that I have to pay for chips, but I have to pay for the cheese that comes on it, even if that’s not typical for corn chips. I had the carne asada tacos, and a chicken tostada. It was good actually. The prices were ok. But I don’t recommend and I won’t be back, because the nickel and dime things that makes no sense. They don’t care about their customers. The atmosphere was not inviting as well.

I ate there 2 different time. I ordered the california burrito, and the second time chimichanga carniasada combination platter. Both times had little amount of meat. I eat at alot of different mexican restaurant and was disappointed by how much meat they put in the burrito. Will not go back. But it was good

After trying the #3, I went back to try the sequel, number 2. To start it wasn’t terrible ok, just good enough to get a fix. Atmosphere was like when you visted Vegas 20 years ago, cigarette smoke and a bar next door. Not a total buzz kill, but the carnitas burrito was ok, 3/5. Soft on the crunch that you’d expect. It was ok ish, then the beans n rice combo was little underwhelming. But all that wasn’t the main event, they lady who took my order was a cutie but wasn’t too friendly while ordering. It wasn’t until I spoke Spanish is when the attitude improved. Then we had an awesome conversation and it was a great ending to the night. Not all gringos speak one tongue, jaja they say. But overall it was ok. it catered to a different traveler.

This restaurant needs to address Adrian’s behavior at the register. I felt I was treated differently as a Black customer compared to how she greeted and accommodated Mexican customers. When I walked in, she came to the counter and stared at me without speaking. I said “good morning,” and only then did she respond. When I mentioned this, she claimed she had already said hi while approaching me, which was not true.
Instead of listening to my concern, she became defensive and argumentative rather than focusing on customer service. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. Later, she refused to fill my side of pico de gallo fully, stating there had been a price increase months ago. Regardless of pricing changes, customers should still receive the portion they pay for.
Overall, her attitude was rude and unwelcoming, particularly toward Black customers. I strongly suggest management address this issue and provide additional customer service training, or consider moving her away from a front-facing role. She also does not know who I am or the level of influence and business I can bring to this restaurant as a loyal customer. I strongly suggest this issue be handled sooner rather than later. No customer should feel uncomfortable or disrespected when dining here, especially repeat customers who support the business.

Food tasted fresh and looked great. Maybe it could’ve used more salt, but otherwise the half portion asada fries were perfect, and the birria was so good The restaurant looked clean and service was nice as well.

I ordered some Menudo over the phone for pick up. They had some little girl working the cash register that was angry about something and took it out on me. When I got home, I had a big bowl full of juice hardly no tripe in it at all. I paid $17and some change. I feel like I got ripped off if you’d like to getting ripped off go order there Menudo.

I dunno about the rest of the menu only tried one dish. And apparently I picked the winner because that Birria Burrito was straight up FIRE. Good stuff. Messy to eat but cleared my plate with a smile. Will stop again for sure!
