My sister was on the hunt for the best chaat in the world. We might have found it at the Chaat Haus. Absolutely superb meal, everything was delicious but the crunchy, sour, sweet perfectness of the chaat was amazing – as it should be I suppose considering the name. Gol gappe always fun and they were bang on, as were the prawns, okra fries and chicken. It’s a winner all round as the staff were great and atmosphere was fun (if a bit noisy – allowed on the weekend). Look forward to visiting again, and having some lassi alongside to offset the spicy!

Have been going here for a few years now. The staff are great, the food is excellent – very different to your “standard Indian” A great selection of food and i love the lassi! Last time we visited the only negative was that it was quite loud but that’s just because it was full and busy. Still one of my favourite restaurants in Bedford

Can genuinely say this was the best food I’ve ever eaten. Phenomenal meal. Spinach and kale chaat was a flavour explosion! None of the food felt heavy unlike some curry houses, it all tasted clean and fresh. Can’t fault the knowledge and friendliness of the staff, or the pretty decor. Will definitely be back!!

We went for a friends Birthday; Nine of us in total. The Service was excellent and the food was incredible. Dishes I’ve never seen or tried before; Certainly not the standard dishes you come across in most Indian or Indian style restaurants. Take a look at the Menu! Atmosphere was good with good light music in the background and gentle lighting.
Really great decor felt up to date and not tired.
They had a proper Vegan menu and NOT just a few token suggestions in a dark corner of the normal menu. In other places I’ve been dissapointed by non-authentic dessert and drinks but this place has dessert and drinks that follow and compliment the menus. Well done to the owners and team for making it a really great evening for us and for having such a wonderful establishment.

Chaat Haus serves the most wonderful food. The taste is exceptional. Quite possibly the best currys and accompaniments I have ever had. The starters are to die for! The service was amazing despite the restaurant being busy with some big tables. So attentive and helpful and the staff were intelligently able to discuss the menu and the dishes being served. If I could give more stars I would.

We had an amazing experience with Chaat Haus! They catered for a group of 19 of us, and everything was amazing. The food was delicious, we all loved it. The staff were equally impressive: friendly and very accommodating, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for better service or food. Highly recommend Chaat Haus! We will definitely be visiting again.

Really lovely place, obviously very popular so I would recommend booking.
We visited on a Saturday evening and enjoyed items from the amazing Vegan menu. They were presented beautifully, and tasted wonderful.
The only very slight draw backs were that because it was busy, there was a queue for the toilet a couple of times. Also, the more intimate style of the restaurant does mean it can feel a little loud.
We cannot wait to go back!

Went here on the spur of the moment. Very glad we did! Amazing food and friendly service, in a relaxed atmosphere. If you want to try South Asian food that’s a little more than the standard curry house, this is the place. Well done Chaat Haus, you have 2 new regulars!!

I went this evening and had a really good experience.
I ordered the Sweet Masala Chips as a side and the Kolkata Kusandi Chicken as my main. Both were enjoyable and came out in good time. The portions were fair and everything was cooked properly.
The service was excellent again. The staff were friendly, polite and attentive without being over the top. We felt looked after from start to finish.
It was a solid meal and a nice evening overall. I’ll be going back.
