We ordered chai and vada pav. The masala chai was excellent and the quantity was a lot. The vada pav were very tasty. The chutney served were good too. Staff is polite. Menu is extensive with many vegetarian options.

I’ve been to this place about 3x but it’s been a span over a few years. I went here with a coworker the other day. I saw this dish from another table and was intrigued. Thankfully, there was a picture of it in the menu! I found out that the dish was the Pani Puri which comes with a sauce you pour over the circular crispy shells. I can’t handle spicy so the waitress recommended the Dahi Batata Sev Puri. She said that was mild spicy. Needless to say, mild was spicy to me. I had to drink water. It’s very saucy as well. I would recommend eating this with rice. Even though it was spicy to me, it was still good. I recommend this dish!
I’ve ordered from here a few months ago and the naan bread was so good! This place has great Indian food. Depending on time of day you come, metered street parking is a hit or miss. There is a parking garage right next to the restaurant on 3rd street as well. I would not come here if there’s a convention at Moscone because it will be packed. The place has plenty of seating, good ambiance, and mild noise. I highly recommend this place if you’re craving for Indian food.

Chat corner is no frills indian fare
I had the dinner combo which at 47$ is a ton of food.
-The sabzi(mixed veg) was aloo bhindi and was home style albiet a little oily.
-The goat curries were great.
Garlic naan was ok
-The mixed daal again seemed home style and was on the lighter side. Not heavy cream like daal makhani.
If you are lazy to go to south bay this is a great option in SF.
The groceries have high markup. Beware a 3% card surcharge. Take cash if you want to avoid it.
A solid late night option for sure.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Chaat Corner for a long time—last year I was ordering at least 3 times a week on Uber Eats because their food was consistently delicious. The Paneer Tikka Masala used to be rich, flavorful, and fresh.
But about six months ago, things started changing. At first, they began forgetting my soda with every order. I didn’t even complain, thinking maybe it was the Uber delivery drivers. But then the dish itself started arriving watery, stale, and tasteless. The peas and herbs that used to make it special were missing. After several orders like this, I realized it wasn’t the drivers—it was the restaurant.
The biggest clue was when I dined in person recently: the Paneer Tikka Masala was back to its original, amazing quality. They clearly treat dine-in customers differently from delivery orders, which feels like cheating loyal customers.
Even more frustrating, when I order to my workplace (a high-rise downtown), the dish is perfect again. But when I order to my home, it arrives watery and bland every time. What the heck, Chaat Corner?

The food was one of the worse I have tasted. Dahi bada- mendu wada was dipped in dahi and turned into dahi bada- hard. Pakora- salty and then topped with chaat masala. Next comes chicken vindaloo- floating in curry with salt added twice or was it more. You would think as if it’s not enough- it was same with dal makhni, salty masala dosa. Raita- runny. Naan – salty check. When we asked for plates, the owner wants to have these appetizer plate as main plates. Waiter found plates in storage.

Great tasting food, good ambiance & inattentive desi style waitresses, who got mirchi pakora instead of chicken pakora order, which turns out to be good as well. But she covered it up well with a desi twist reason, that both items are next to each other and she pressed the incorrect one!

We went in first day and ordered biryani. The taste was good but It was toooo spicy, even though i like spicy and eat spicy desi food all the time but i couldn’t eat it without water or some yougurt. Still we thought we should try more stuff before getting an opinion. Next day we went again, order qeema naan, the qeema smelled and tasted strange, even the yougurt with it tasted off like probably gone bad?? We had to retuen it, ordered chowmein instead, the taste was ok but too oily. Ordered paan at the end, the register had a note “fresh meetha paan”. Opened the paan and the leaf was rotten (pic attached) again tasted very stale, was frozen and no saunf and paan stuff inside, only some sweet frozen jelly and stale leaf. I don’t usually give bad reviews, but we went twice ordered multiple dishes and everything bad and the staff wasn’t even sorry or working to improve , they were just adamant to order a replacement in the fear that they’d have to issue a refund. Poor service and food quality overall.

Awesome Indian food options. You ask and they have it. They also do little modifications in their preparation to suit their customers. Their customer service is too good. Very polite but friendly understanding and wants to serve food to our tastes. Whether it’s Nisha or Karan or Kumasi or even Sahiba or sabeena . All of them are very good and because active I would want to go again. Frankly speaking their masala dosa was very good but sambhar was little sweet. Vada pav was good but again bread on the sweeter side. Palak patta chaat was good. Chola bhatura was okey. Their quantity is a large portion so check before you order
