Social Profile:

It all began back in 1979 when Chuck and Mabel Wyatt opened their western inspired diner, Wyatt’s Pancake Corral. It quickly became a well-liked hometown hangout and was remodeled in 1984, renamed The Country Gentleman. Wyatt’s daughter Shirley and husband Steve Simmons became partners in 1996, and added catering to the expanding operation. In 2006, the restaurant and catering business expanded to its current location -9221 West Clearwater, Kennewick. Now Country Gentleman has now evolved through ongoing community growth and support, transformed to CG Public House and Catering. Under the leadership of son, Kyle, the Trendy CG Public House offers tasty new fare for foodies, crafty cocktails and local beers and wines.

Traditional American breakfast, lunch & dinner served in a relaxed, contemporary setting.

Well we have wanted to go for a long time and finally got a chance. Just going to say that I wish we had left it at a want to go. Got potato skins and Ruben egg rolls as a appetizer and both were let downs. Extremely overpriced too. The Salisbury steak was our main choice an reason that drew us here. Got it with scalloped potatoes. Mixed sc as looped potatoes and a 3rd grader could have made that better an with more flavor, Huge disappointment. Daughter got Mac-n-Cheese with bacon and you’ll get a better Mac at McGills. I got the Cajun shrimp and grits an out of all there mains it was the best but still only giving it a 4 out of 10. Were pretty much the only customers in there so no reason not to have great food as you had all the time in the world to make it great. Service left a lot to be desired cause cutting it up in the bar with regulars was more important. Might try a lunch but definitely won’t go back for a dinner.

Went with our family to the Thanksgiving buffet. It was great! The food was kept fresh and hot. My only complaint was there wasn’t any dark meat, and no option to take home some leftovers for later in the evening. I would of gladly paid extra for a take home container. My husband was thrilled to eat tri-tip instead of turkey, and the ham was just right! The kids enjoyed the sweet potatoes and the desserts, the 4 year old even ate most of her plate! All in all a great time and bonus no cooking or cleanup!!

We had our company Christmas dinner (20 in our party). Our server was amazing in getting our drinks order and the appetizer list was perfect, I think we ordered everything on the menu. Yum! Our server made us feel comfortable in enjoying ourselves and knew exactly when we were ready to start ordering our meals. A lot of us order the prime rib and shared our thoughts on how good it was. We all had a great time!! Thank you CG!

We used CG for Catering a big event and the food was delicious. They provided valuable guidance throughout the menu selection process. Everyone loved the food and it was a total success!

Their staff was so kind in assisting with our clean up at the end. They really went out of their way to go above and beyond to make sure we had help with clean-up. They assisted with moving tables and chairs too! Please let them know they were greatly appreciated!

They catered my grandmas funeral, $1300+ . We got the enchiladas, they were disgusting. Enchiladas are not hard either, they looked like fake rubber food. People seemed to eat it, idk if anyone truly enjoyed it but they were hungry. I think with a little help they could really turn it around. Also, olives don’t belong on enchiladas.
However, the service was really good, helpful and on time. The spread was set up nicely and they were super helpful.

First time there. It was nice
Food was good. Bought pies, instead of homemade, otherwise dinner was good. Very thankful to the staff for making our Thanksgiving. I hope they got to go home & enjoy the rest of the day with their families.

First visit and this place was packed. The service was good and the food tasted decent but left both of us feeling not so good afterwards.

I can’t speak to the service and atmosphere, as I’ve only ever ordered delivery. However, the food is incredible. It’s become a favorite of mine very quickly. I’m a breakfast lover and their biscuits and gravy is DELICIOUS

The atmosphere is good for a clean establishment. Maybe it’s because I’m not a retired person, but no one looked at me and smiled. Even with them just looking at someone (an older fella) then to me.. the smile drops and the look is blank at me..even when I’m positively looking at them with a “great day expression”.
Then, I even want to tip with a to-go order..
I wanted my coins back for the change and then I would have put a tip down for her.. did I get my coins back? Nope.
Never been here before and wanted to try it..
Definitely won’t be back until maybe I’m retired.

Oh, the food was okay.
Needs more flavoring.
$20 for a small scramble, sausage patty and toast? Crazy..
