Overall a good place for Breakfast or Brunch. Service was great! Felt the steak and potatoes were a bit on the salty side but it was a good meal. Worth checking out.

It was a surprising cute spot considering the area. Very modern and young. The food was good. We ordered soup of the day (French onion), shrimp tacos, blt, and a chai tea latte.
Soup was good.
Tacos felt a bit small and not filling but the seasoning was good.
Blt was good, ended up taking off the cheese so I shouldn’t have got that from the beginning.
Chai latte was good, but they should be warning people of the up-charges for things.
Food took quite some time to come out but the workers were friendly.
They have a lot of options. I’d go back for the gelato and another drink potentially.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful! My mom is very picky, and she loooooved the CG lox bagel (pictured). The owner was the sweetest young woman—so kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

Stopped by Common Grounds and had the Caprese avocado toast with a chai latte, both were excellent. The pesto made the avocado toast a stand out. The chai was perfectly spiced and not too sweet. Great spot with a nice vibe, will definitely be back!

More expensive than a steak dinner. I ordered one of the specialty lattes on the menu list and it never came because they couldn’t make it fast enough. Twenty 20 minutes later they brought me a regular coffee at my request. The atmosphere is good, they’re trying hard but ultimately this place will fail because nobody wants to pay $78 for quick coffee house breakfast. (which included the tip) for dry toast with sliced avacado and one baked challah bread with cranberries. Compared to the local diners that bill needed to be around $35 to $38 (tip included) to be competitive. Lastly the chair is way too uncomfortable for a coffee house. Leg turned numb. Ultimately, this place will fail just like the French bakery by BJs. Your customers don’t want to be gouged. I understand why it’s happening with inflation but it’s not realistic going forward. Lower your price and pump up the volume. My best advice is to dramatically reduce your price and go through much higher volume. Don’t focus on food but drinks and small pastries like a real coffee should. I wouldn’t mind paying $7 to $8 for a really great latte. Thank you for the experience but I won’t be back. Too expensive.

Delicious food every time. I ordered a bagel to go and was delighted by the fruit garnish! and super happy points for the easily recyclable container.

This spot is something very special hidden right in plain sight..right off Rt. 6. If you haven’t noticed, all the Starbucks in the area have removed 90% of their tables and chairs and do NOT want you sitting and relaxing in their establishments..forget the corporate machine and come check out this beautiful shop for coffee, breakfast, lunch or Dinner and even a lovely glass of wine or signature cocktail. Im sorry to not include pics, but honestly, photos cant do this place justice..the artwork on the walls, the music, the vibes, the energy, and of course (above all else), the wonderful staff. Some of the friendliest, most inviting group of young ladies you can ever meet. This Gem in our neighborhood should not be overlooked. Pls come in and ENJOY!!!

Excellent experience at CG. Such a lovely café with a great atmosphere. You can truly feel the care and effort that’s been put into the space, from the welcoming staff to the thoughtful details throughout. The drinks are well made, the food is exceptional, and it’s a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends or family. Always happy to support and definitely worth a visit (you won’t be able to stop at just one)!

Stopped here on a whim because I heard they make great cappuccinos – I had no idea that this was a full blown cafe! The food was amazing – beautiful presentation, fresh ingredients, and delicious flavors. My daughter ordered a pink lemonade but it was not any old lemonade – maybe a hint of sweet basil? It was so good! The bagels come with fresh fruits, the caprese avocado toast was so flavorful, and the shareable hummus platter could easily feed 3-4 people! The servers work hard to get dishes out fast and do so with a smile each and every time. I could tell by their language that they also recognize many regulars and remember their orders which also proves how much they care about their customers. I think I’ve found my new favorite brunch spot!
