I should have listened to my gut when it said not to waste my money. The lamb and rice was so disgusting, didn’t even taste like real lamb meat at all. I have had lamb meat for years and this was not it. The Buffalo wings was trash I just ended up throwing out both dishes. Very disappointed, the workers there are very cool but the food NO Bueno!!!!!!!!!!!!

The person who took my order was very friendly and pleasant. She was the best thing about this place. I ordered three piece fried chicken and french fries with a side of onion rings. The onion rings were terrible. I only eat one. The fried chicken was the worst I have ever had. Only eat one piece. The two gentlemen in the kitchen were more interested in talking than cooking fresh food. I will never go back.

As far as fried chicken spots go, i give it 5 stars.. the chicken is what you would expect from any crown early in the day. Fresh and good.. but why it’s 5 stars instead of 4 is because the guy at the front was really cool. I usually just grab and go, but i was with my kids, so we sat down to eat.. he was like a real waiter and made it easy for a dad and twin daughters to have a peaceful time. So good it was worth leaving this review.

Avoid the North End Crown Fried Chicken on Acushnet Avenue — they have zero respect for customers’ time or money.
After physical therapy Thu night (7/31/25), I was completely wiped out and called ahead to place an order for their mixed grill, lamb and chicken on rice. I told them clearly I was taking an Uber and needed the food ready on time. They said “15 minutes.” I gave them an extra 15 minutes on top of that just to make sure everything would be ready when I arrived.
I show up — and not only is my food not ready, they hadn’t even started it.
The guy behind the counter just smiled like it was some kind of joke and asked if I “wanted to wait.” No apology, no urgency, nothing. Just straight-up disrespect. This is the second time this exact thing has happened. Two weeks ago, same location, same nonsense, and I got stuck paying extra Uber charges while they took their sweet time. No apology that time either.
I don’t care how good this dish is — when a business repeatedly wastes your time and money and treats it like a joke, they don’t deserve your business. I will never be back to this location, and I highly suggest others steer clear unless you enjoy being ignored, disrespected, and left waiting.
If I could give this zero stars I would.

A truly horrible place. The place is so shady and ugly. The staff are super salty and oh boy the food taste is the most tasteless thing I’ve ever tried. I just don’t know how you can make chicken that bad. The after taste was also horrible, I had to drink coke after 2 years to wash it away! Very bad not recommended at all.
