A popular dish made of raw fish or shellfish, marinated in fresh squeezed lime or lemon juice often with tropical fruit, oil, onions, peppers, and seasonings. Ceviche is a seafood dish that derived from the coastal regions of Latin America and the Caribbean. Served chilled as an appetizer or main entree. It is absolutely delicious, healthy, and refreshing!
Buzzy Panamanian cafe offering Latin-inspired fare & tropical drinks in a relaxed, vibrant setting.

We had a fantastic experience at Ceviche’s! Everything from start to finish was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We began with the Elote salsa and GOAT guacamole, both full of fresh, vibrant flavors and a great way to kick off the meal. For entrees, we tried the ropa vieja, scallop risotto, blackened scallops with smoked pork belly and blackened mahi. Each dish was perfectly cooked, creatively plated, and layered with bold, balanced flavors. The ropa vieja was rich and savory, while the scallop risotto was creamy and indulgent with a perfect sear on the scallops. The blackened mahi and scallops with pork belly were equally impressive—fresh, well-seasoned, and unique in presentation. We ended the meal with Spanish beignets and coconut cake – both decadent and satisfying. The beignets were crispy outside and pillowy inside, and the coconut cake was moist and tropical without being too sweet. The ambiance was upscale yet inviting, and the service was attentive. Ceviche’s is a must-visit in Wilmington for anyone who appreciates elevated Latin-inspired cuisine. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful restaurant with three different seating options (patio, dining room, garden room). I’d recommend a reservation if you want to go for dinner on the weekends. Food was lovely and the staff were friendly. We got the tuna tartare special and coconut shrimp. Any time we are craving seafood in WB, this will be our first choice.

Ceviche’s Restaurant was an amazing dining experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, every dish we tried was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. It’s clear they take pride in both their food and service. Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Wrightsville Beach. Definitely one of the best meals we had during our trip!

We showed up right at 5:00 PM with a toddler and party size of 6 people and Ceviches was able to accommodate us. The hostess brought my hangry toddler a small plate of fruit while we ordered and some crayons with paper for coloring. The food was amazing. We particularly loved the sea bass ceviche, the yuca fries with a spicy dipping sauce, and the pickled cabbage on the curry shrimp dish! All in all it was delicious and we felt to taken care of while there. We also got the beignets and they were to die for! Fresh and hot with a berry compote on top. 100% will go again!

Absolutely blown away with the quality, freshness, presentation and service. We were recommended this place by a fishing guide, and the recommendation did not disappoint. The ceviches were excellent. The guacamole is incredible. The watermelon salad is one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while. All around, this is the best dinner I’ve ever had the WB area.

I’ve been wanting to visit here but parking was always limited. There was finally a spot available, so we stopped.
The atmosphere here is laid back coastal with an earthy chick. The staff is happy, and everyone is there to make your dining experience enjoyable. From the fresh squeezed lemonade to the beignet desert, everything, including the service, was outstanding.
Walk in the side door, near the Plaza for the hostess station, or when picking up your take out orders. We were quickly seated for a 6pm visit and were greeted with water while we placed our drink orders. The drinks alcoholic and non-alcoholic arrived quickly. And we placed our dinner orders. We had a member of our party celebrating a birthday, and he ordered multiple items multiple times during our visit. They didn’t waste any time bringing out his mid meal orders.
I have to say it. This is the one restaurant in the Wilmington area that I felt actually deserved every penny of their 270.00 bill. Living near the ocean, everything is a little more expensive and usually not worth the extra money. Not here. I had a great time with great people, serving amazing food…and I’ll be back again. The scallops and pork back were tender, not over or under cooked. The blackened Mahi had perfect spices.

Everything was delicious. A couple of things needed a bit of salt, but everything was fine.

Ceviche’s in Wilmington was a great stop for lunch en route to Kure Beach. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, and the place wasn’t busy.
For food, we got:
Caribbean Fried Oysters: The cornmeal oysters were delectable and went well with the aioli that came with it.
Mango Guacamole: Chips and flavorful guacamole with bits of mango in it made for a wonderful snack too. The chili powder on top elevated the flavor too! They were kind enough to restock our chips.
Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos: The Mahi-mahi fish was cooked perfectly and the slaw, guacamole and lime crema were added in just the right proportion. It made for an excellent and delicious entree. The accompanying coconut rice tasted fresh.
Langoustine Roll: Imagine a soft hotdog filled with langoustine ceviche, fresh arugula and pickled jalapeño—it tasted delicious and was another great entree.
The drinks—Fresca ensalada and the Tropical Lightning IPA—provided just the right kick accompanying the meal.
We sat on the back patio—which was a bit uncomfortable with the sunlight directly streaming down the glass panes. We realised later that we should’ve sat inside instead.
Their other menu items looked interesting and piquant too, ranging from empanadas to soups, salads, and tacos. The Panamanian vibe is in the air too, which is what they rightly advertise themselves as.
Restrooms were clean, and parking was available outside. Our server was kind enough to check on us multiple times. Overall, we enjoyed our time at Ceviche’s, and highly recommend it!
