Food (at least what we got ) was excellent. It was not a busy lunch hour- there were just 6 people inside and me and my friend outside. We ordered the 3 ceviche dish and the alpaca burger and a drink k and some waters. I had planned on also trying out their dessert menu but did not get to. After my friend’s drink and my water was brought out, we didn’t see our server until 40 minutes later when the ceviche was brought out. When he brought it out he sat it down and left. Didn’t check on us – offer another water- just went back inside. 20 minutes later I decided to go in and he was talking to one of the other tables. I asked for the check and said I believe he forgot about our burger- he just said ok and started to go to the kitchen so I had to stop him to say that we didn’t want the burger at this point- we just wanted the check. I had high hopes because the location is nice and the pictures online were great— and the ceviche was the absolute best I have ever had. I’m just annoyed because we wanted to try so much more but were ignored the entire time. Don’t get me wrong- I know it takes time for the fresh ceviche- but never checking on us, our drinks, how was our food, and also not even putting the alpaca burger in…. It was just horrible service – and we were not expecting that on Park Ave.

A Five-Star Peruvian Fine Dining Experience in Winter Park

If you’re looking for an unforgettable Peruvian fine dining experience in Winter Park, Orlando, look no further. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special, but the meal that followed exceeded every expectation.

We started with the hot ceviche, an elevated take on a classic dish. The fish was exquisitely fresh, perfectly balanced with bright citrus and just the right amount of heat. We also had the grilled octopus, which was tender and delicious. Another dish we had was the alpaca risotto, it was a true standout. Creamy, rich, and deeply flavorful, it showcased both the chef’s technique and the quality of the ingredients.
What made the evening even more memorable was a visit to our table from Chef Angel. Warm, friendly, and genuinely passionate about his craft, he took the time to talk with us about the dishes and Peruvian culinary traditions. His kindness and pride in his work shine through in every bite.
We cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Whether you’re a lover of Peruvian cuisine or simply looking to try something exceptional and unique, this is a must-visit destination. High-end, fresh, and absolutely delicious—Winter Park is lucky to have it.

If I could give this place 6 stars, I’d do it. My girlfriend and I had the ceviche as an entrée, and it was absolutely fresh & delicious. For the main course, we had the Lomo saltado which was very soft and saucy. My gf had the arroz chaufa, super flavorful. Portions were pretty decent. Our server was Garrett, who was very attentive and his suggestion was on point. Will
Come back to try the Octopus that the next table ordered and the smell got me delirious

Amazing peruvian food with lots of Gluten-free dishes. The seafood and fish they use is top notch ( I am so happy they don’t use sway fish like most peruvian restaurants around Orlando area or the country). Every dish we have tried has been very delicious. The Fisherman’s Jalea is my favorite so far and they can make it gluten-free which is hard to find in peruvian restaurants. All dishes are a bit pricey but worth every penny in my opinion. Maria was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Angel is an excellent chef that comes out to your table to make sure you are enjoying the food he prepared and answer any questions you have in regards to the menu.

A few weeks ago, I was walking the strip of restaurants on Park Avenue, checked out the menu out of curiosity of this Peruvian spot Ceviche Central Cocina de Autor and seeing some interesting dishes, a waiter approached and offered assistance, but I said I was just looking for future reference and talking about being half Peruvian always love to support, especially if it’s good! Little did I know the Chef was sitting at a table nearby overhearing, and we started talking, once I shared my experiences going to Lima Peru we started talking food and when I mention that I own a cheesecake business, he told me he makes a aji de amarillo(spicy yellow pepper)flavored cheesecake, so had to try it! So we started off this review with the dessert first

I fell four pairs of eyes gazing at me, as I was lifting the spoon, and trying this cheesecake, let’s just say this was a delightful experience. The texture was not as creamy, but it held together well structured, the flavor reminded me of the spice level of a Mexican hot chocolate to where you feel the spice on your tongue during the aftertaste and it’s not overwhelming it’s actually interesting, the lime whipped cream on top complements the yellow pepper spice perfectly to why I can say this was a successful creation, and I respect the chef for having the bravery of making something like this and still pulling it off! Shook his hand and told him I will be back in a couple weeks so fast-forward to my next visit

The ceviche tostones were awesome, you taste the crisp hot temperature of the tostone shell with the cold refreshing tangy ceviche in the middle, clash of both delicious temperatures in one bite, had to behave because normally I would eat for these in one mouthful, but this is Park Avenue, so you already know this appetizer wasn’t a couple dollars

Lomo for Peruvians is like cheese pizza for pizzeria, if you can’t make that you can’t make anything else so I have to get this, he uses filet mignon, very tender, and the sauce definitely has that woky kick, I prefer potatoes to be the traditional small size, but these were still delicious and once again, if you’ve noticed the chef likes to have his fusion twist, really good dish!

Here is where things get crazy, this other plate is an Alpaca (related to llama) cheese risotto, for the win! it taste like a crossbreed between a gaminess of a lamb and lean ness of New York strip, the chart on the edges seals, a deal, cheesiness of the risotto, sprinkle some toasted corn kernels in there with a little bit of ricotto spice, damn it man

Shouts out to Chef Angel he is very passionate about what he does, I had a wonderful experience and the drink that he recommended got me halfway buzzed (forgot what it was)

Food was amazing and the atmosphere was excellent. Chef Angel Barrios came to our table personally to greet us, which made the experience even more special. He was incredibly kind and took the time to explain each of our dishes, even letting us know that the ceviche was made with corvina imported straight from Peru. Everything was outstanding, and I will definitely be coming back!

Unbelievably delicious food, and great service. We had the papas huacaina, ceviche mixto, causa limeña, and one of the most delicious cheesecakes we ever had. Fabrizio was our server and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food here is genuine. Go on Tuesday if you’re over 50, it’s 50% off the entire bill, including wine. (Be sure to tip on the undiscounted part.)

The chef, Angel Barrios virtually gave us a trip to Peru! The food was awesome and different from the typical Peruvian restaurant. The vegetarian ceviche made with mushrooms was delicious, lomo Saltado to die for. The restaurant is beautiful and the ambience perfect for a night to remember. One of my best experiences in Winter Park.
