Last year, they changed their name from C’est la Vie to Farm House Table, thinking it a better description of the Cafe’ and Bakery. The staff and owner are the same and the food is still OUTSTANDING! Did I make that clear enough? If you haven’t been here yet, you are missing one of the great gastrointestinal experiences in Greater Peterborough.

After wandering around local towns for good coffee, we ended up in Peterborough. We originally were going to the book store for coffee (which Cafe was closed on Sunday anyway) when we saw 2 passersby with coffee. We asked from where and were referred here.
What a cute little French Cafe! On a beautiful day you must eat outside, so charming. The building is an old cottage!
I got the maple sugar latte, not very strong maple flavor, but still delicious. Also ordered a cinnamon sugar crepe. The crepe was ok, definitely had better but wasn’t bad either. We did see they are pre-made, and just warmed up.
Everything is made on site. My husband had a fresh chocolate croissant and it was delicious.
Service was excellent!
If ever in the area again, we’ll be stopping by!

A little cramped, but the crepes are tasty and the pastries are wonderful. The ladies who run it are friendly and very helpful when it comes to choosing from the many items on the menu.

Great food and excellent service, especially considering the kitchen only has standing room for one person. I strongly recommend. Also, it’s called Farmhouse now.
