To all his regulars, this one’s for you. Chef Cesare Vietina brings handmade Tuscan cooking back to Beverly Grove—no frills, just family recipes, real hospitality, and dishes that taste like someone’s Nonna made them. Highlights? Nonna Tina’s meatballs, veal Milanese, risotto ai porcini, and a pinsa with brie and pears that somehow works. The room’s intimate, the service is warm, and the regulars don’t need a menu. If you know, you go.

Wow, is this place great. They have the best Italian food in Beverly Grove. There is nothing not to love. It is family owned and I think a guy named Cesare is the chef and owner. He is adorable. We saw him there. What a nice guy.
This place is stunning inside and out. It is so very comfortable. Make a reservation, this place is now super popular.
It is fine dinning and expensive so get over that.
The service is just great. They have the best staff that go out of their way to keep you happy and comfortable.
They have the best drinks–we had a couple. My photos did not come out well so I called them and they said we have two of what you had and you can use. I did. Better than mine could be.
There is nothing not to love here. Their lamb chops are so great their veal scaloppini is great. We love their pasta and salads. Even their figs are great. Go there.

Had a fantastic experience at Cesare! I went with coworkers for a team dinner, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We ordered burrata, carpaccio, meatballs, and the brie pinse for apps – and then we all got our own individual entrees. Everything was delicious, but my favorites were the brie pinse, burrata, and tagliata di carne. (the steak was a BEAUTIFUL presentation – lots of thin slices displayed in a circle). Overall the food was delish, the environment was warm, inviting, and friendly – and I would definitely return again.

Came here for Valentines Day with a hot date and must say this is second time eating here in recent days. Both times were excellent food and service! Plus a romantic and intimate atmosphere. Also had service that was quick and on point.
When making a reservation two weeks prior we were lucky enough to be seated indoors as we had the last table available for 830pm. The place was packed when we arrived on time and were seated immediately. They sat us down and our drinks and orders were taken, and food arrived without much wait.
All the food was delicious, staff was friendly and well diverse (gender, and heritage) . And to top it off Fabio (male model from the 90s) came walking in for dinner as the place started buzzing! Def a night to remember!!

Highly recommend this place. I took my wife on Valentine’s Day. Our reservation was at 5:45pm indoors and we were a little late due to traffic but we called and they held our table. Thank God, or I wouldn’t hear the end of it from my wife. We sat in a booth with the view of the flames of the pizza oven which made it look very romantic. Since it was V-Day it was quickly getting packed inside and out, so we decided to order drinks fast. We ordered the espresso martini,10/10. Really great food, good portion size. Took us 1.5 hours from beginning to end. The servers were really great, knew the menu well and explained everything to us. The appetizers- I got the tuna tartare and she got the pinsa with pears both 10/10. For pasta I got the bolognese, their sauce was so good I gave it a 10. Wifey had something called PPP it was a pasta in a white creamy sauce and had peas in it, I only had two bites because she finished it so fast, it was delicious. Branzino was great, dessert was a tiramisu for me and a fruit tart for her, both great. The owners came and checked on us, they were super easy to talk to very warm and welcoming. We talked a bit about pro soccer players from Mexico and Italy. Found out the two owners are actually married … not many mom and pop restaurants in this area so that was a nice surprise. We were all talking a mix of spanish, italian and english and it was pretty funny. I don’t even speak italian either, my native language is spanish but we all understood each other well! . Great mix of people, we met a nice couple. There was an older Latino couple next to us and they asked for a pillow to support his wife’s back and they did it quickly and gave one to my wife as well. It was just really attentive service that I don’t see much in this city. We go out a lot for work with our clients so we see this rarely. The couple on the other side of us ordered differently and we were all asking each other how every dish was. It was a fun, relaxing and romantic atmosphere. The music wasn’t too loud so we could all hear each other very well. In the uber ride home my wife suggested we take her parents here next week when they visit from Mexico. I think they will love it and my father in law will be happy to talk about soccer with the owner. And I definitely want to try more pasta here. So I will post more about how their other dishes are.

From the staff, to the atmosphere, to the food everything was incredible. My husband & I came in for a delayed Valentines celebration and enjoyed our apps, entrees & dessert. The waiter Daniel & just continued to check in on us through the meal to make sure we were good.

This place is a complete joke. Cesare massively overcharged me, and my bill came out to over $700, which is insane for what was provided. The value did NOT match the price in any way, shape, or form.
What really pushed this from bad to outrageous was what happened next. I called to calmly ask about a refund or at least an explanation, and the owner was incredibly arrogant and dismissive. No apology. No accountability. Nothing. Just ego and attitude, like he was above even acknowledging the issue.
When a business takes that much money from a customer and something goes wrong, the bare minimum is professionalism and respect. Instead, I was treated like my concern didn’t matter at all.
If you care about fair pricing, customer service, or basic human decency, stay far away from this place. There are plenty of other options that won’t overcharge you and then act smug when you question it. On top of everything else, the food portions were embarrassingly small. I’m talking tiny plates being passed off as “fine dining” while charging ridiculous prices. You leave still hungry after spending a fortune, which is unacceptable. Paying hundreds of dollars for food and walking away unsatisfied is insane. If you’re going to charge luxury-level prices, the portions and quality should at least justify it they absolutely did not.

One of the worst service experiences I’ve had in LA. Went for their Valentines “Experience” ($120 per person). Got there at 7pm and didn’t receive an entree until 8pm (after I flagged down a waiter reminding them we were waiting on our food). Food came and it was the wrong order. The table to the left and right also received wrong orders for multiple of their courses. The person to left had to send their food back twice. With service this poor the food would have to be spectacular to make up for it, unfortunately it tasted like they just pulled it out of a Sysco box and heated it up. To top it off they brought the wrong check for me in the middle of my meal (around 750 before I even received my first entree) and the wrong check for the people to the left of us. Incredibly expensive for what we received, absolute disaster.

We absolutely love this restaurant. Cesare and his wife Pamela treat us like family. The food, the wine, the service, and the atmosphere, are absolutely the best. Cesare was previous partner at Madeo. He has done an amazing job on his own. This is absolutely our favorite Italian restaurant in LA! You will love the complementary olive and cheese plate upon arrival!

Amazing service. The food is some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. The owner is very kind and accommodating. I needed to wait for my father while he was getting a procedure and he was so kind and hospitable. Please stop by if you are considering trying this restaurant, you won’t be sorry you
