Cerulean Restaurant has been an elevated dining experience in my life since summer 2008. At that time, their evening menu was entirely different than what is offered today (2023) — I can’t speak much to their current dinner offerings. However, their lunch cuisine has remained consistent.

Our food was good. I especially enjoyed the guacamole and the sushi. The atmosphere inside seemed nice, but in the screened-in room, trying to keep the sun out and stay cool was a bit challenging. Our server was great until she got held up by something, and we had a long wait at the end of our meal.

Cerulean is YUM! So many great dishes crafted to perfection! I’m a big fan of the Poke bowls… it’s the perfect marriage between a healthy salad and sushi. I smile every time I eat here. Great food, great atmosphere, great area, great staff… an easy 5-Star rating!

We were at the bar where I usually see best service. My drink ran empty several times and bar tender forgot to enter part of our order. I had the lamb chops they had excellent flavor. I ordered them rare but the 4 chops came out from blue to medium-rare. The crispy mushrooms were fantastic.

Plenty of Asian fusion & full sushi menu options… beyond the food are wonderful indoor/outdoor and porch settings along the canal in Winona Lake. Year round creativity at Cerulean… in their menu and their settings. A beer garden in summer to igloos in winter. Friendly service and a great place to meet up with friends and family. Best way to sample multiple items is doing a bento box at lunch!
