Very disappointed in the new pizza. We have been craving the original yuyus we’ve been loyal clients since they were located on first street. We’ve waited months for them to reopen so we can finally have a slice. Unfortunately they have completely changed the recipe and this pizza is terrible. Crust is like cardboard. If the original owners come back I will continue to be a loyal client until then they have lost my business. Prontos pizza taste better than this

Got the large Deluxe for pickup and they told me it would be ready in 15 min (got there over 30 min later but the pizza was still hot and fresh ) pizza smacked was really good. Something closer to Shakey’s as opposed to pizza hut or dominos. Will definitely go back to try the bbq chicken one next time

Great tasting pizza. It takes me back to what pizza was like growing up as a kid in the 80’s with the perfect amount of grease If you don’t like too much grease on your pizza, you can just dab it off with a paper towel.

We decided to order thinking we were getting the Great pizza we’ve had for the past 25+ years.. NOPE! We were very disappointed. Everything looked like it was frozen and then baked.. Bread sticks were hard. Pizza had cardboard taste. Chicken wings from the freezer. We will not be ordering from there again. Would have been better off ordering Little Caesars.

Horrible experience yesterday. I called yesterday, 12/31/2022 at 1:00 PM to order a jumbo veggie pizza for pick up. I was told it would take about 40 minutes for my order. No problem, I didn’t mind the wait time. I arrived 42 minutes after placing the order and was told the pizza was still cooking. I sat down and waited another 20 minutes for a single pizza. When my order was ready and I was paying, I was told it was hot and straight out of the oven. Great. I get home, only 5 minutes away from this spot, and as I am about to eat the first slice of pizza, the entire slice falls apart. The pizza was still dough-y in the center. I let the pizza sit for another 10 minutes, didn’t make a difference, the center was pretty uncooked. I paid $28 for a jumbo veggie pizza that was uncooked in the center. I wouldn’t have been bothered waiting a little bit longer if it meant getting a completely cooked pizza. Terrible quality food!!

A Disheartening Decline
Having been a loyal customer of YuYu’s Pizza for the past 10+ years, I must express my disappointment with the recent changes. The once exceptional quality of their pizzas has taken a noticeable nosedive, leaving me questioning the reasons behind the apparent downgrade. I’m assuming new owners as there were people I’ve never seen before and the terrible customer service we received which was quite surprising.
The crust, once a highlight, lacked the freshness and flavor that initially drew me to this establishment. Toppings seemed sparse and uninspired, contributing to an overall lackluster dining experience.
Adding to the frustration was the service, which has notably deteriorated. The masc like lesbian waiter unfortunately, displayed a lack of enthusiasm and attentiveness throughout our visit. She brought out a 2 liter soda and when we asked for the cups, she disgustingly replied with “People buy it at the 99 cents store across the street.” Like what?! How do you sell 2 litter sodas and you don’t offer cups?! Besides this we got overcharged and when mentioned she said “It’s not me charging it’s the machine.”
I’ve fond memories of YuYus better days, but this recent experience has led me to not come back . I sincerely hope they take steps to address these issues and restore the quality and service that once made them a standout pizzeria.

Pizza dough was too hard. I’m not sure if the quality was not good on the dough, or it had been sitting out too long. They didn’t remove the excess pepperoni grease off the pizza either. My first job was at a pizza place, and I was taught to drain that oil off, before serving it to customers. I can say the wings were tasty. I liked the spiciness. I think I won’t be going back there again though, especially due to the limited time frames. I hate that about pizza places, not in agreement with them all closing early around the area.

Two things you gotta know about this place
1. It had weird hours opening around 5 or 6pm
2. It’s really good BUT it tastes exactly like East LA Pizza (currently it’s called LA Pizzeria) and it about the same price 5 bucks for a personal pizza and around 15-20 for a large or X-large. I’ve been wanting to try this place for while but never could because it’s weird hours and I finally got to try it yesterday and as I said it was really good a bit pricey BUT EXACTLY LIKE EAST LA PIZZA. So if you like this place or wanna try it just go to East LA Pizza instead its basically the same and has for better hours.

Great ! Pizza still the same taste it had before they moved from where they use to be & it was caked yuyu’s. Clean place to eat at if you decide to eat there & friendly . I picked up mine to go. The price is great. The only down fall is ” cash only” but I’ll be going bk soon. Oh & to the pizza hut guy …that’s not butter you are tasting on the pan bread btw. Pizza hut has it’s bad secrets I know from personal experience.
