Only place I know in town that makes fresh h homemade pasta. The vodka rigatoni was to die for. Had a great date night here and the beer was delicious as well. Can’t recommend this place enough. Alex M was a great bartender/server who was very knowledgeable on the menu and in house brewed beers.

We had been seeing videos in Instagram of the food here and are all about trying local food so we gave it a go. We circled the block several times to find parking-their parking lot holds 3-4 cars, 2 handicap spots, the rest is all street parking, which can be hard downtown. It looked fancier than I expected from the walk up to the door- tables pre set with stemless wineglasses and plates, cutlery…the menu options are small and for a brewery leave much to be desired. I ordered the Cali burger, wagyu, mushrooms, onions, cheese, one leaf lettuce and a thin tomato and lots of sauce. The bun was soft, the meat needed a little more seasoning in my opinion. The fries were thick cut spirals and the ketchup tasted homemade, almost cocktail sauce vibes. My soda was flat. My friend’s opinion wasn’t much different from mine….her experience- “Subpar at best” She had the triple B burger, minus blue cheese (one of the b’s is blueberry compote.) In her experience “you could barely taste the blueberry flavor and the bacon jam was salty and did not taste like bacon at all. For a burger with so many things, it was very bland. But the fries were delicious and the soda was flat.”
It didn’t really meet the brewery vibe check, it wasn’t even an elevated brewery vibe, like kicked up wings, nachos, etc…the food was pricey, service was okay- we didnt really appreciate the server coming to us with the “check” and telling us our totals verbally and never getting the receipt. I love downtown Bakersfield and I love to see new businesses come in and make our town beautiful and prosperous, and I do hope this place does well, but its not somewhere I’d return to again.

We had the best time at Centro Cali Brewery! Everything we ordered from the menu was delicious.. steak, pizza, pasta, salads, and cocktails. The service was so quick and accommodating. Plus the ambiance was extremely quiet and comfortable. It was the perfect night out with friends.

This place did not disappoint! I had a cali salad! Fresh greens, tomatoes, pistachios, burrata cheese and roasted peaches with a sweet yogurt drizzle and a peach dressing. It was a generous portion and delicious. I also had the potato and onion pizza. I can’t say enough good things about this delicious pizza! Give this place a try it will make you smile.

Quick Summary
Food quality is pretty top notch for Bakersfield. Great ambiance and really liked the open kitchen concept and their pizza oven. Pretty easy parking in downtown with plenty of street parking
Food- 5 stars
Rib eye- this was perfectly cooked and really tender. Pretty competitive pricing too
Cali salad- pretty good salad especially during a warm day
margherita pizza- really good as it was freshly made in their pizza open
oxtail tortellini- this was good, but probably my least favorite of the night
Service- 5 stars
Servers were all pretty attentative despite the busy opening week
Bottom Line
Love the revitalization of Downtown Bakersfield with this new gem. Worth the hype with the quality food

My recent visit to this locally owned restaurant and brewery was exceptional. The staff was professional, courteous, and attentive, ensuring a consistently pleasant experience throughout the visit. The menu offered a well-curated selection of dishes, all prepared with evident skill and high-quality ingredients. Each plate was thoughtfully presented and delivered outstanding flavor. We had pistachio crusted salmon and cali burger. The in-house brewery was equally impressive, we tried the golden hour haze. Great choice.
I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking excellent cuisine, exceptional craft beer, and outstanding service—all within a proudly local setting.

So weird they had reviews turned off and were only allowing 5 stars to post all week… Very excited there are more places opening in Bakersfield. Maybe I’ll try this place again in a few months.. the pizza dough is soft and fluffy, beers on tap and a full bar. I would describe this more as a family friendly restaurant rather than a brewpub. We came in expecting beer and brew vibes… it was like every meme of kids over running a brewery. Now that I know that’s the vibe I can have different expectations. They were slammed from just opening and the server did a great job keeping up and checking in on us. The potato ball appetizer was almost good but idk if there are just raw jalapeños in it, the heat just hit you and over took the whole dish. I didn’t try the burger but it was a would not order again from 2 of us. The Cali pizza was a hit and the potato pizza was great. Glad we tried it, not gunna be in the regular rotation though.

We love this place. We are on a road trip from AZ to Sacramento and picked this brewery randomly from a google search. The beer was great, food was AMAZING and our server Elijah was very helpful and had some great suggestions like adding chili oil to our clam chowder.. yum!

A group of friends invited us to meet them at Centro Cali Brewery. There was 10 of us in total. The restaurant itself had a fun atmosphere but the back room was even better! Definitely a great spot the sit and chat while enjoying the drinks. Our group ordered a variety of food from the Oxtail Tortellini to salads, to pizza and more. Every one of us enjoyed our food. Each dish had an amazing blend of flavors and was presented beautifully. Our server was wonderful. One downside, we had one member in our party who has an intolerance to dairy and gluten. There is a statement on the menu which says “no substitutions.” She asked the server if the tzatziki sauce could be removed from the salmon dish and the server said that they don’t allow any changes or substitutions to the menu but that he would ask. She ended up going with the steak (which she enjoyed). Just note that if you are a picky eater or have food allergies, plan ahead. They seemed to be a stickler for the whole no substitutions rule.
Overall, we had a great time and would definitely return!
