The food is good and very well priced! I had horchata, which was tasty, and pupusas with pork and cheese. I think the meat could have used a little more seasoning, but salsa was provided to put on top, which was good. The waiter was very friendly, and the atmosphere was calm, with just a few other people there for lunch. Would recommend!

We finally gave this place a shot, and wow! I hadn’t eaten pupusas in a while and totally forgot how good they are. My wife and I each got two, and I would have ordered more if my wallet wasn’t screaming, “No more, please!” I’ll definitely be coming back just for pupusas to go. Those things might be my new food obsession.

The plates we got were okay but nothing amazing. My wife got three loaded chicken tacos, and I had the fried chicken with plantains. The chicken was a bit dry, but the plantains were really good. The waitress was super nice and explained some of the menu since it’s mostly in Spanish. Without her, we would have been totally lost. Also, the menu is huge, so we took a while to decide.

The place itself is small and crowded with tiny tables, but that is exactly the kind of vibe you get at an authentic Salvadoran restaurant. The chef (and owner?) checked on us a couple of times, and you could tell he really cared about us liking the place. That kind of attention is rare.

It’s a bit pricey, especially for lunch. So like I said earlier, your best bet is to get a bunch of pupusas at $3.49 each. Honestly, three or four of those would have been filling enough and cheaper than the big plates.

Bottom line: Pupusas are the real stars here!

Unique and authentic restaurant with lots of options and good portions for the prices. The restaurant is small, with only a few tables, and combined with a storefront selling drinks, snacks, and ice cream. Overall a very quaint El Salvadoran restaurant with a few really good items like the Fried Chicken dish. Overall worth a visit if you want to try a new cuisine in College Station.

Papusas were delicious and made fresh to my order. I got pork and cheese, and the pork had a nice flavor. Friendly service and fair pricing!

Such a nice place to have dinner at; I always enjoy how polite the staff are, as well as the atmosphere. My favorite dishes of theirs are the plantains, carne asada, and pork/cheese pupusas.

Amazing homemade popusas! Service was great and food was just delicious. Chips and salsa are also great…not your bagged chips. I highly recommend the chicken or bean popusa and their fresh flavored waters (watermelon specifically).

Go and have some Pupusas. Pretty authentic feeling, middle American eatery with an emphasis on Salvadorian and Guatemalan dishes. Quite a bit of grocery store items, chips and pork rinds. Not the most organized or sanitary looking place. I ordered Pupusas con queso y jalapenos and although not on the menu, I received two well made Pupusas. Curtido was salty, tangy, spicy, and included some herbs, very good but not enough.

So delicious!! Small hole in the wall cafe- the pupusas are great and the owner is very kind and easy going.

We stopped in from out of town and enjoyed our dinner and chatting with Daniel the owner!

Will definitely be back!
