They gave me only 4 pieces of vegetables and I told the server. She said that if I wanted more I can payed. After showing her how many tiny pieces I had.
-.-
We ask for hot sauce and she slams the sauce on the tablet.
With a bad attitude. Had the worse experience ever we were so pissed off that we payed and left…
Never again..
I had a disappointing experience when paying my bill. My total came to $86, and when I used my card, I was told there would be a 3% charge for not paying in cash. However, the amount added was $3, bringing my total to $89, which is more than 3% of $86.
When I asked for clarification, the staff said it was a new policy implemented about two weeks ago, but they weren’t able to explain what the 3% charge was actually for. This fee was not a tip, and it was not clearly explained or accurately calculated.
I understand businesses adding card fees, but they should be transparent, correctly calculated, and clearly communicated to customers. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here.
In the middle of a strip mall, this place sits quietly. My wife and I were greeted and told we could sit anywhere. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
On the wall behind me was a saying. It’s in Spanish but translated: “We do not serve fast food, we serve fresh food as fast as we can.”
The food, as advertised, wasn’t fast, but it was quite worth the wait. I had a pupusa with asada, something I have never seen anywhere else. I also had the Churrasco Salvadoreño, which is steak with a cabbage slaw, casamiento (beans & rice), chorizo, and fried plantains. The pupusas were freshly made and hot. The steak was well seasoned and went well with the rest of the flavors on my plate, especially the cheese.
My wife had a pupusa revuelta, a pupusa with cheese, black beans, and loroco, and a baleada. My wife loved everything!
The only downside to the whole night was that, once our food was brought to the table, they didn’t check up on us for refills. All in all, the staff was great! We will definitely be returning.
