We were pleasantly surprised to taste the food that was rated so high at this restaurant. They cook it close by and it was sumptuous. We all had the soup which was very good and sandwiches. Definitely make this one of your stops if you’re in town.

I was visiting traverse city and was looking for some food options so I went into this cafe thinking well a sandwich is a sandwich I’m sure I’ll like it but it won’t be anything special.

This place is always busy. They have a huge sandwich & wrap menu laid by protein, and everything is really fresh. Did I mention it’s busy? I usually call in my orders Togo, but it still only takes maybe 10-15, min. Just don’t forget–they’re not open weekends!

Within the doors of this quaint, hole-in-the-wall cafe, is a staff that is cheery, attentive, and downright delightful! From the first, “Hi, sit anywhere.” To assisting in dairy allergy questions, this team is top notch. I ordered the high noon and big Bubba. Both were fresh and inventive. It may be a tad off the beaten path for vacationers, like me, but well worth the effort of going 7 minutes south of Front Street.

Great soup and sandwich shop, they have other things like tacos, pasta salads, mac and cheese, I usually stick with soup and salad. Everything is always fresh and delicious. I love the mushroom soup. The staff is always very nice and quick to greet you. This is a hidden gem in TC, a little off the beaten path, but a great place.

Always the first place to visit when I come to Traverse City. Love the swamp soup and everything else! Don’t trust me until you try! They always have weekly special and such a great variety!

Their food is absolutely nuts how good it is. Easily one of the best – if not the best – place to get lunch in Traverse City. You cannot go wrong with them!

If the prices weren’t an absolute rip off I would give this place 5 stars for how good the food is. But it is a rip off. There is no way it costs them $4.75 to make any of their sandwiches.

I think I caught them at the end of their lunch rush as things seemed a bit hectic inside, but even so, my order was ready quick and the staff was mostly friendly. The real star of the experience was obviously the food though. Very creative and super tasty sandwiches, and for a reasonable price too.
