I see my review was removed so I will post it again and will continue to post it. Took our elderly Mom there and they didn’t give her what she ordered and refused to take it back. Brought her baked fish instead of fried. Owner came out and argued her best waitress could NEVER have gotten the order wrong and left the table. People are crazy to patronize this little dump and it’s pompous and rude owner. Take down my post and I will keep reposting it. She is not deserving of the few customers she does have.

$18 for grilled cheese and zucchini. The grilled cheese has plastic kraft singles on it that isn’t even melted. Pricing is outrageous for what I got. I understand inflation and tough times but this is price gorging! I can get a steak dinner at Texas Roadhouse for this cost!

It’s a hit or miss. One time we get our food quick and with good service. Other times we wait at least half an hour for food, and the service is terrible. Sometimes they check on you along with the other people, other times they come only twice, to take your order and bring it. No waitress is around most times. We have to get our own straws and napkins. A few times we had more than $10 in change, and they asked if we wanted the change. Don’t call, their very angry and hostile on the phone. They changed hours but don’t update it online. Foods alright, rather pricey.

Not a bad spot to grab a bite. The food was tasty and had good portions. Doesn’t take cards but there is an ATM on the bar side of the restaurant.

Very nice place to go with a friend/family member to have a relaxing catch up time.
Central is a cozy, home like atmosphere. Some things are somewhat dated, but that’s OK. It still works and everything is orderly and in good condition.
The food was good and fresh. I had a tuna hoagie and the all the ingredients were fresh and tasted just as expected.
The entire place is very clean. The bar is separate from the main dining room. Going through were it separates from, you have an opportunity to see partly into the kitchen itself. I was able to tell everything is incredibly clean and orderly.
This is one of Apollo’s “hidden gems” and I encourage everyone to check them out.
The only drawback is that I wasn’t aware that they accept cash only. They said that they do have it posted on the door, but I didn’t see it. Fortunately, they do have an in house ATM and Apollo Bank is right across the street (with their own ATM).

Just called to place an order and was hung up on. If they changed their policy and you need to go in to order, that is understandable but for someone at a place of business to answer and say “you have to come in” then rudely hang up on a customer is not “family friendly” or good business. I get busy with my job as do most people but there is no reason to be rude. Why answer the phone at all if you’re not taking orders?

The breakfast here is great. I got the French toast and it was wounderful. Staff was good attentive though service. Atmosphere is old but cozy could use some updating the booth I sat in was a bit torn up. Exactly what you would expect from a small town diner. Prices are fair. Overall it was a good experience and I will return.

Let start off by saying food is pretty good been here quite a few times the service is great!! BUT if I could give 5 negative stars I would only because of the owner!!! She is very rude and arrogant!!!! The customers keep her in business and to be honest treats you like you are a lesser person. If you hit big on a machine don’t expect to be paid for a week. I will not be returning!!!
