Central Pub, located on the southwest corner of the Central Flats apartment building on Belknap Street, has been in the works for about a year and a half. The owners, who ran Tavern 105 in Superior before its doors were closed in 2021. Central Pub will retain Tavern 105’s pub style of food with burgers, wraps, and their staple entrée: Buffalo wings.

Great service. Nice full service bar with plenty of craft taps. Wings are great. Burgers are very good. Wraps could use a little more meat in each one. I like the chips. Pickles are chips and are fresh.

Per the other reviews, I tried the bone-in wings and they were delicious. Made from skratch with a light crispy breading. Ghost Pepper and Teriyaki sauce to dip, both delicious also.

Only one visit so far. It was okay, but not great. I’ll try them again soon to see if I warm up to them or not. I had some boneless wings which were satisfactory. They turned it into a basket by adding fries and cole slaw.
Added Jan 2025: on my second visit I had their daily special which was a cheeseburger and fries for 10 bucks. And a couple beers. Photo added. They had a couple good IPAs on tap. Good place to meet a friend for a chat with a meal.

Central Pub Willy’s Chicken Wings are delicious! Many flavors to choose from and every seasoning is excellent. My friends and I do the Wednesday special every other week throughout the winter and enjoy the drinks, atmosphere, and great wait staff too.

Wing enthusiasts, look no further!!! Central Pub serves up, what I can honestly say are, the best wings I’ve ever had!!! And, I have definitely eaten my fair share of wings. The wings themselves are exceptional, but what really elevates the experience is their blue cheese dressing. It’s not just a side, but the perfect complement that enhances the flavor of the wings! If you’re a wing lover like me, you owe it to yourself to try these wings!!! Central Pub has set the standard for wings in the Twin Ports. The only thing better than their wings are their service.

Food was amazing!!
I Had a to-go order and the care they took to package the food was the best I’ve seen in all my travels. The Pickles were separated from the bread which sounds dumb but no one wants soggy bread when they don’t do this. I Actually got a big cup of sauce for the side salad instead of most places barely giving you enough to cover a 1/4 of a salad.
Overall the food was 10/10 and I will eat here again next time I’m in town

Great place. They even have usb outlets next to the tables. The food is awesome. The pub burger was pretty good. The chicken wrap was decent. The cheese curds were really good.
