Update 8/19/26. Still a great place. Loved my Chicken Marsala and the Wife loved her Chicken Piccata. Monday. Light Bonus. All Chicken dishes 50% off when you pay with cash.

I decided to revisit Central Pizzeria to check-in and compare the quality from two years ago to now. I’m happy to say that the quality has improved. The plain slice is still pretty average, but the margherita slice was tremendous. The sauce was rich and flavorful and the fresh basil was a pleasant addition. The base was browned perfectly and the crust was crisp and crunchy. Overall, this is a decent spot!

I ordered a Meatball Parm sandwich at the counter. The restaurant was not visibily busy. I waited over 45 minutes for this sandwich. I checked with the guys behind at two different times. When i finally got the sandwich with fries(i didnt order fries !) the excuse i was given by the guy behind the counter was they misplaced the ticket. The sandwich was acceptable.

Serves great pizza, friendly staff, only reason I gave 4 stars is because the garlic knots looked like Pillsbury crescent rolls with butter on them, tasted zero garlic…maybe they ran out of something but this was a terrible excuse for a garlic knot

Central Pizza bar sits in the back of the restaurant.
Central bar has great food and staff. Half price weekday specials are the only reason we go there.
The bad thing about it is that the owner is very cheap and refuses to put any money into this establishment. Half of the bar stools are broken and unusable. The men’s room is disgusting with tiles falling off the wall. It wouldn’t take much to update this place, too bad. I don’t think the owner wants to put a penny into it. It’s a shame.
I have personally donated several beer pint glasses to the bar because they didn’t have enough
