We tried Central for the first time yesterday and were amazed at how delicious it was. The garlic knots were incredible, I think I’d go back purely for those. We tried the adult cheese pizza and it was awesome too.
I’ve heard about central pizza from so many people and I was so excited to go try for myself. It did not disappoint, and I will definitely be back soon.

I have been a regular at this restaurant for over 3 years, and I have had nothing but wonderful, positive experiences, and the quality of everything has NEVER gone down! The bar staff has such incredible chemistry together, and it is infectious – y’all are doing a fantastic job!
The pizza, dare I say, is practically perfect. The oven they use is a legit wood-fire Italian oven, and it shows through that and the quality of their dough and ingredients. Easily one of the best pizzas I have ever had; and I’ve had some great pizzas before.
Even their appetizers have that same level of taste and quality of their pizzas, which is absolutely incredible! Their wings are unlike anything I’ve had before – it’s almost like ribs, with their chili caramel. That combined with the lime they give you is pure perfection.
Their drinks are also incredible. If I were to recommend a great drink, it would have to be the Basil Pep Lemondrop; a really nice and refreshing cocktail.
Overall, if anyone is ever in the downtown Lafayette, LA area, this is THE place to check out if you want a wonderful pizzeria experience. Thank you to the owner for keeping this place as perfect as you could get!

This place is an a solution gem! The burrata was seasoned perfectly. The cheese curds were perfectly seasoned as well and the sauce to accompany was perfect as well. The garlic knots, though a little doughy satisfied every desire with the accompanying red sauce, ricotta sauce, and pesto sauce all of which were obviously fresh. The pizzas were cooked to perfection and delicious. The cheese stood out enough to taste but not overshadow the delicious toppings or crust.

Lemon drop strawberry mocktail (10/10) LOVED THIS!! So amazing and tasted delicious, wasn’t as sour as I expected. Perfect amount of everything
Appetizer:
Garlic Knots (10/10) very buttery and soft by themselves. loved these
Addin’s:
Red Sauce (9/10) Classic tomato sauce added nice flavor to garlic knots
White sauce (8/10) just tasted like butter, very light and added nice flavor
Green sauce (7/10) not my favorite, took away from the garlic in the knots, still very delicious

Paulia (9/10) I loved this so so so much, I’m not a big fan of sweetness on pizza but this was well done so I actually enjoyed it!! The pepperonis were large and not sparse, the crust was a little hard to chew though.
Voodoo- (7.5/10) “The chili sauce over powered a lot of the pizza. If the would’ve added less chili sauce you could’ve tasted more of the ingredients”- Partner in crime
After 24 hours:
Pulia- (9/10) the sauce obsorbed into the pizza and isn’t as powerful!! Only a 9/10 because it wasn’t fresh
Voodoo- (9/10) “the chili sauce calmed down a lot, the pepperonis curled and held some flavor so that was a nice surprise! I’d recommend this pizza to the next. If they like spice”- Partner
We overall loved this place. The vibes colors, service, food were top notch. If someone asked me “ugh I want a big pizza for cheap that tastes good when I heat it up” I’d recommend central. Also if you look closely at the bricks you may see a secret message folded into the cracks! Try to find it!

We have dined here several times and the pizza is great. We don’t live in Lafayette but drove an hour the other day to grab some pie. Delicious!! Nice, charming location. Service has always been pleasant.

Food was cold and whoever made my pizza did not know how to cut a pizza. The right side of my pizza was cut into 4’s and the left side was cut into 2 pieces? More crust than pizza. I was excited for this to be open but I guess it’s just a cursed location. Will be driving back to the original location.

The food, service and overall energy in this place is phenomenal!! My boyfriend and I had the absolute best experience with Cole, our waitress. She was so kind and helpful with recommendations, and the food definitely matched the stellar service. We had the central dip that almost put me in a food coma it was soooo so good!! We followed it up with the curly sue and holy cow, such an incredible pizza!! The garlic ricotta and pistachio pesto was insane, highly recommend!! Incredible first experience and I can’t wait to visit again, major thanks to the talented chefs and sweet Cole for making our visit!!

The restaurant is so cute and bright during the day! The server was very informative, attentive, and friendly. We tried the Smoke Show, Curly Sue, and the eggplant dip appetizer. Both pizzas were wonderful, the pistachio pesto on the curly sue was rich and flavorful. Most likely wouldn’t get the eggplant dip again, it has a very earthy and distinct flavor but it was worth a try!
