If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! My husband and I are here the first day in town, and I’ve been back every day! Great food! Great price! One time, I guess I ate pretty fast after working up an appetite walking around, and he asked if I was ok, did I need more food? Very kind!

Stopped through for breakfast before a long drive—it was by chance that we spotted it nestled in old town Albuquerque. The banana pancakes were fluffy and wonderful but the real seller was the BYO Omelet, which i had with chorizo, cheddar, and onions, “Christmas Style” with red and green chili on top. The chilies were out of this world, the chorizo was a really nice warm coarse ground blend (maybe homemade?) And both the servers and owner were very nice to us, giving us two biscochitos for free as it was our first time in town. Would drive the 6 hours back from PHX any day of the week, highly recommend.

Central Grill and Coffee House is a great spot along Route 66 for a hearty breakfast. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, and the classic eggs, sausage, and hash browns hit the spot. Portions are generous and everything tasted fresh.

The only downside is the long line to order and the longer wait for food to come out, so patience is required during busy hours. That said, the staff is very friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience worth it.

Overall, a solid breakfast place with good food and a nice local vibe.

Great breakfast in a diner-like setting near old Route 66. Excellent cappuccino, a nod to the modern menu. Staff is very friendly too. You won’t be hungry when you leave.

I really wanted to like this place. I’m sorry but the food is a flop.. we ordered a variety of things and really didn’t like any of it.. even scrambled eggs were tough, I’m pretty sure I was eating canned beans .. this place could be great but it’s a no go..

Great local diner along Route 66 with good breakfast and lunch options. Friendly service and good prices, I had the classic American breakfast which did not disappoint.

Cute little place. The wait can be a little bit as you order and pay at the counter and then they bring you the food. The prices aren’t bad the food is ok.
The best thing out of the steak and eggs and chciken fried steak was the side of biscuit it came with. It was warm and fluffy.

The food was so good! I got a Ruben with sweet potato fries and both were perfect. We also got a chicken fried steak with green chili and the chili was just the right amount of flavor and spice. We got a pancake on the house for being our first time and it was the best blue berry pancake I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back for more. The customer service was also outstanding, they welcomed us in and explained the menu and had our food out fast.

Excellent experience. We’re out of town, tried visiting other places – this place was better then all of them. Came here and everyone was very welcoming and happy to help. Had the all American breakfast (was amazing) and my husband had the French toast. They gave us a free blueberry pancake! Was overall impressed with their service, quality of food, and liked their line to order. The line-to-order imo streamlined the whole service.

We hope to come back. Thanks!

Meh. I think it’s a little hype for the area. The pork chop was more of a medallion than an actual “chop”, the eggs were made exactly how I wanted and tasted great, the taco shells were pre cooked/made and there wasn’t an option for soft shells (fresh), the potatoes were dehydrated, and the salsa seemed from a jar (it was good like it was jarred Sadies), and the English muffin was rubber. The coffee was nice and is what really brought this rating up to 3 stars. I won’t bother returning.
