Wonderful hidden gem in S. Pasadena. Breakfast and lunch only, full menu all day. I had a whiteboard special, avocado toast. Two eggs, perfectly cooked over medium (seems to be a hard ask at many restaurants) and sauteed onions and peppers on whole grain bread. No side but didn’t need one! Excellent attentive service, coffee kept coming. I’ll be back

My husband and I visited the area from New Jersey. Initially, we planned to go to La Croisette (stopped there to eat when visiting in the summer). After seeing a long line, we found Central Diner online & decided to give it a shot. WOW! We are so glad we did. The country fried steak was phenomenal, the diner was so clean & the service was exceptional. Huge shoutout to Nidhi for being extremely friendly, kind and timely. We ended up coming back for more the next day for breakfast! 1000% recommend.

We decided to try this place because I read about the opening in St. Pete Rising. Evidently, so did everyone else! The one waitress was running around like a chicken with her head cut off, but she did an amazing job. I had pancakes and grits, my husband had the meat omelette. My entree was fabulous. Two huge pancakes that I could only eat half of, and a big bowl of grits that were delicious. My hubby said his omelette was also delicious. We would highly recommend this place.

I was so excited Central Diner opened a diner in Pasadena. My first visit I did not get my usual, John’s Special, but ventured out and had an omelette with potatoes. Delicious! Omelette so tasty ! Service great too! Waitress very attentive and responsive to our every need! We will be back for sure! Next up on the menu, I think, the Grits Bowl Special!
