An absolutely incredible place with exceptional service. The exterior hides the fact this is one of the most wonderful restaurants in Baton Rouge. Certainly out of the way for most, but worth the drive. After a scrumptious dinner with Jess as our server, we were so impressed with her and our food, we returned the next day for supper. Their lunchtime special and Judy didn’t disappoint and we greeted as if we were regulars. I’d go out of my way to return to see them both and eat here again. It was the highlight of all the restaurants we ate at all week. Definitely try their dipping sauce for the sweet potatoes.

This was a first ever visit and most certainly not my last!
I ordered the loaded fries and 1/2 dozen jacked-up oysters, and both appetizers were perfectly prepared and delicious I also ordered a seafood entrée platter to go.
Our server “Carli”, was professional as well as politely and continuously attentive.
I look forward to my return visit. A definite hidden gem.

Super friendly atmosphere from the hostess to the server and manager. The food was delicious and very well seasoned. We ordered the seafood platter and the crabcake garlic butter fettuccine, with added shrimp. We will definitely be back soon.

This was by far one of the best restaurants we’ve been to. The steak is well seasoned and cooked to perfection!! We got boiled crawfish and they we AMAZING! They had a lot of flavor but they didn’t make your nose run everywhere. my husband got the fried catfish with crawfish étouffée (my husband is super picky about his étouffér and he loved it) The staff were all super friendly and it was overall a good environment! we will definitely make a weekly visit here! 10/10 recommend!!!

The food was okay but the service at the bar really needs improvement. One bartender, Chole, said that the top shelf margaritas were two for one on Tuesday. When her shift ended and Jessica took over, she said that deal didn’t apply. It’s confusing and comes across as unprofessional. Management should make sure all staff are on the same page about their drink specials so the experience is more consistent for customers.

The food is great. The only reason I give it 3 stars instead of 5 is because the service sucks. This was our 2nd time trying it and both times, the service was just terrible. My 9 year old daughter asked “is there a kids catfish?” The server said yes…but still brought us a large catfish. Our server was sweet, just not very attentive.

Food was pretty and tasted good. The atmosphere was awesome bery country rustic. They have a small arcade. The waitresses did not come around alot. They seemed to be hiding in back almost and it was a slow time we went.

Very casual steakhouse with a local vibe. Good food and service. They offer food specials and other activities on certain days/nights. Daily lunch special menu until 3 with happy hour on weekends. Overall a good food at a good price.
