Central City BBQ in New Orleans is the kind of place that makes you slow down and savor every bite. We ordered a two-meat and a three-meat plate, each with two sides, and finished it off with the banana bread pudding. The smoked sausage, pulled pork, and brisket were all perfectly smoked, juicy, and packed with flavor. The sides were just as impressive — potato salad, bacon mac and cheese, and baked beans. I almost cried after tasting that potato salad… it was honestly better than my grandma’s. Everything was a solid 10/10 from start to finish. At around $30 per person, it’s an incredible price point for BBQ this good. I’ll definitely miss this place when I leave.

Looks empty from outside but actually was rather busy. Service is fast and everything we tried was delicious! Comforting and filling for a decent price. (p.s. the smoked turkey was probably the juiciest turkey I’ve ever eaten)

Fantastic southern barbecue. The sauces are amazing. I had burnt ends brisket and sliced turkey. Food was fantastic and I would definitely come back again five stars all the way.!

The food was excellent and the service was great. We truly enjoyed our meal and overall experience. A Spanish gentleman who served our food and cleaned the tables was exceptionally professional. He was attentive, polite, and very well-groomed. We even bought some spices. We will definitely return.

The food was ok. It was not the best today. I had the 3 meat combo. The only dish that was hot was the Jambalaya, everything else was room temperature or cold. I hate having to send food back so I just got a Togo plate and left.

Smoked wings taste good, they are not tender or fall off bone. Honey sauce is spicy. Food came out pretty fast.
