Small bar with a local feel. Owned by Norm who used to run Twelve % Brewery in North Haven. Great, personable bartenders. Go see Dave Lefkin perform there (Foxtrotter/Block Island regular summer performer). Great selection of bourbon and whiskey.

Great local hangout. The staff are great. Especially Savannah ! There is no food there but there is plenty of food in the plaza around it that you can grab or even have delivered. Has a great vibe to it.And there needs to be more places like this.

Great addition to the area. My wife and I stopped in tonight after a great dinner at Kat-Su. Central cafe felt so welcoming, great beer list and cocktails, and the locals at the bar rock!! ( Randy, thanks ). Wonderful vibe and wonderful owner, ( he was actually hands on behind the bar!! ) we will be back. People need to find this place and support local. Very refreshing.

This bar is amazing !!!!! It’s comfy , the owners are amazing friendly people ! It’s super clean you can enjoy a drink outside , the people who come to the bar even if you don’t know them are super nice and we always end up in conversations ! I mean North Branford doesn’t have much let’s be honest but this is the place to be !!!!!!!!!!!!! And you can even bring your own food , they don’t serve food but who cares we are just there to drink and chill anyways ! I would also like to add I am not affiliated with this bar I am simply a customer who never rates anything but I felt the need to rate this place ! It’ll be one of your fav spots no doubt

Central Cafe is a great little place! Felt comfortable the minute we walked in. Everyone was very friendly. Good conversations and laughs with people you don’t even know. Great atmosphere, great beer and cocktail selection, juke box, pool table and plenty of seating. We were only there for pool league but will definately be back!!!

A great dive bar to go for drinks with friends. I definitely would choose to bring my friends here for a night out d/t the great service, pricing and atmosphere. They are fast and remember your order/ have good reccs. They have a pool table and plan on getting darts- can’t wait for that!!!

What a great spot. It’s listed as a “dive bar,” but it is that in friendliness only. It’s clean, bright. Awesome place! And GREAT beer and whisky selection.
