Stopped in for some take out for lunch. The restaurant is very nice, very clean and well taken care of. The gal at the register was very friendly and pleasant. I ordered 2 brisket sandwiches and an order of fries. To be honest, we were not so impressed with the brisket. It was kind of tasteless and a bit tough. I wish I had ordered the pulled pork. But the fries were great! And the employee who walked out to give me my food was super friendly and nice. Maybe I just need to try something different.

Central BBQ is a “good” go-to for local BBQ. The customer service was friendly and courteous. My selection was the Portobello salad and my food partner enjoyed a half slab of ribs with Cole slaw and pork rinds. All was very tasty and enough to share. The music is a little too loud for me; it was hard to hear during our conversation.

I asked if I could have the bigger part of the ribs, which would be the front or begin of part of the ribs when cutting. That’s because I don’t like the end that has all the fat and smaller bones.
The cook even came out to make sure of what I meant and said ok. Well I got exactly what I didn’t want. $30 is pricey already for the portion of what you get true enough. Now, if you can’t meet my request, just simply say that and I will go somewhere else. But don’t play in my face. Was very disappointed and will don’t go back, I would just take the drive to Memphis BBQ in horn lake.

I am not a real big fan of bbq but Central just turned me into one. I have been here couple times and they surprised me every single time from the food to service. Top notch! Their Brisket Burger and Brisket Griller Sandwich are amazing. Their presentation is beautiful. The temperature is perfect. And the amount of seasoning and sauce is beautiful. Service is always friendly and caring. Definitely coming back again.

I recently visited Central BBQ. The cashier and waitress were very friendly, and service was quick, which I appreciated. I ordered the six jerk wings, which were $18—pretty pricey for the portion. Unfortunately, once I got home, the wings were hard and dry. Great service, but the food didn’t match the price this time around.
