We had such a fun time at Central Bar last night! We watched a couple of games and the atmosphere was great as always. This is one of our favorite places !!!we always come here and will definitely keep coming back.

Atmosphere: Trendy, modern, and upbeat — perfect for groups or after-work drinks.
Transportation: Parking can be tricky; garages nearby are the best bet.

Excellent service at the bar for happy hour. We had coconut shrimp, fish and chips, cauliflower and portabella mushroom fries. Absolutely delish.

We had the BEST time at Central! New to the area, we went on reviews and gave this restaurant a try. We could not have been more pleased with our food, service and the atmosphere on a Friday evening at high-tide after-work dinner hour (October 24, 2025). Nicole, our server, was FANTASTIC — attentive and personal, as we were there for an anniversary celebration. The hostess (didn’t catch her name) was also so friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional! Our group of four had salmon, halibut, whitefish and steak — and each entree received rave reviews as some of the best in each category that we’ve ever had. We enjoyed the potstickers and fries for appetizers along with wine — all superb — and the beignets for dessert — highly recommended as an after dinner treat so you can linger a bit. This was definitely a 5/5 experience for our entire group!

There was a minor oversight regarding the table balloons that were arranged in advance, but it did not take away from the overall experience. Everything, from the food to the atmosphere – made the evening thoroughly enjoyable. We look forward to returning.

Nice cosy restaurant. Food quality is very good and the service is kind and fast. The prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants. Personally I find it a little to dark: the combination of less outside light with the dark brown furniture causes some trouble seeing sharp for myself. The rest of the group did not complain about it. Dishes are served in a nice way.

We’ve been to this place a couple of times and we liked their setting. We sat in the ally both times, once in winter and once in summer. It was comfortable for us and cozy. The inside of the restaurant looked like it also had some nice decor, maybe we will try get a table inside next time.
The food was good as well. We ordered Bagel Boy and Hangover Omelette. The bagel boy was very good. We thought the bagel would be hard but it was actually soft, and filled with melted cheese making it very tender and tasty. The omelette was good though nothing too special about it, just like any other omelette. But it has a lot of cheese which I loved!
Overall I think it is a good place for brunch and will likely visit again in the future.
