Wow—what an experience. The space feels like stepping inside a shell deep under the sea: immersive, moody, and beautifully designed.

The food and drinks absolutely deliver. Matcha Yuzu is a must—foamy, rich, and incredibly well-balanced, with just the right harmony of sweetness and bright citrus. For food, the Tuna Tostada stands out: savory, fresh, and texturally spot-on. The Uni Crab Rice looks simple, but the execution is exceptional—the sauce, herbs, and seafood come together with impressive depth and elegance.

Already looking forward to my next visit for more creative drinks and dishes.

Came to raw bar for a date night with my fiancé. What an amazing experience! The food, drinks, and atmosphere were all great! The seafood tower was very unique and was a journey of flavors. My favorite dish was the lobster roll. The desert was a gourmet take on a ding dong. Perfect spot for a date night! Looking forward to coming back again soon

This is such a great new restaurant! The vibe is amazingg and the staff are lovely. Highly recommend the seafood tower— best uni and scallops I’ve ever had. The branzino is insanely good. The cocktails are well balanced and fun. Tiramisu was fabulous as well! Will be back!

I think Cento Raw Bar is a social experiment. Who can eat hovering over a tiny table vs who can stand and eat at a floating bar. Basically no proper tables or chairs. This is the longest review I’ve ever made…

***IMPORTANT NOTE: only reserve the bar or patio if you want to be seated comfortably.

The seating in the front corner section completely ruined our experience. I was wearing a velvet suit and so afraid to ruin it because we had to eat off our laps cause the table was a short coffee table. I was so uncomfortable awkwardly leaning forward to eat. Everyone around us was struggling to either lean over to eat or putting the plates on their lap. It was a really unfortunate experience and cannot for the life of me understand why they would do that to diners spending hundreds of dollars per table.

Once I walked around after dinner to admire the space, I was shocked to see the next front section have to stand, no chairs, at these floating bars. You can easily add barstools here so don’t understand the standing. I was wearing high heels and would be so pissed if I had to stand the whole time. Then I found the patio at the back and THATS where all the tables and chairs were. Shocked cause I truly don’t understand why they are making us eat off our laps and stand if they DO have tables and chairs.

In addition, the AC was blowing so hard in our section that everyone in our section were wearing their jackets. My husband opted to not take off his jacket and be comfortable because it was so cold.

Lastly, I came here strictly to admire the design and aesthetic and was very disappointed to have these ugly wood chairs across from us that don’t match the restaurant at all. I assume they came from the pasta bar next door? Everyone else had the cute white iron chairs with the swirl pattern. This place is so curated, so to have those outdated chairs, ruined any photos I was going to take. Nevermind, not a single person wanted to sit in them because they were so much higher than the tiny table, so you’d have to bend over even more to eat if you sat there. So every single guest was piled on the bench, squished together.

Aside from the seating, the food was actually very delicious. Wasn’t a fan of the uni crab rice (no crab found) or the deviled eggs but everything else was fab. Faves were the scallops on a half shell and the tuna tostada. Portions are small so order at least 6 small plates to be full. Was confused by the chicken & waffles and ribeye on the menu. I was looking forward to the fish dip, tartar and mosaic cheesecake which were removed from the menu. Speaking of, there is no menu online. I had to google search around to find a guy who posted an old menu. Please put your menu online.

The dish ware was interesting. While I find them interesting, I don’t find it matched the aesthetic. Under the sea cave vs. 80’s pop party.

Overall, PLEASE get proper tables and chairs in the front sections. That seating literally ruined our experience. It’s like the two front sections were originally designed to be bar seating but changed it to be dining and it made for a really uncomfortable dining experience.

Must go place! It so beautiful and so different for a restaurant in LA. Doesn’t even feel like you’re in LA when you’re inside. We ordered some oysters which were delicious. We also ordered some espresso martinis which were some of the best. Service was wonderful. Parking is kind of hard to find but valet isn’t too pricey. Paid about $14 for valet. The area is a little sketchy so would recommend using valet. But overall, loved my experience and will definitely be back.

My fiance and I came for some light bites and a drink and were BLOWN away by everything – the ambiance, the service, and the food. I got a dirty vodka martini and my partner got the chilled cento red and those were 10/10 to start. Then he got 8 oysters that he LOVED and the caviar which he said was amazing. I got the deviled egg (the smoked paprika sprinkled on top was chefs kiss). Everyone was super duper friendly and the whole vibe was seriously like a dream. Will definitely be coming back for another date night soon!

Old…and New! Cento Pasta Restaurant just opened a crudo/raw bar next door. Hopefully this is OK but this is a review for both restaurants as I suggest you do the same as we did and go to both the same night. we made two reservations on OpenTable one for the raw bar and then one for the pasta. This is complicated and I had to call since OpenTable does not allow more than one reservation within two hours of the second one.The raw bat is a beautiful, modern space w a very NYC vibe. This is the first time I have ever wanted to order a seafood tower in years and they really nailed this one. They also had plenty of other tasty options, including a stellar fish dip , creative Crudo, and more. we didn’t wanna get too much since this dinner was being followed by another dinner. The pasta restaurant also delivered. We hadn’t been there in years. The mostly outdoor space is airy and not overly crowded. service is friendly and welcoming, something I do not take for granted in Los Angeles. While most of the menu is seafood and farmers market fruit and veggie focused, they have a great duck and cherry confit that embraced our red Burgs, along w a respectable. bolognese . Corkage $35, no limits. We would be delighted to return. #thefoodietraveler

I thought most of the food was pretty good but unfortunately overpriced for the amount of food you get. I really hate speaking bad about a place but I want Management to know how I felt as a customer paying hundreds of dollars to eat at their establishment.
First off the ambience was lovely…loud as hell…but lovely. I don’t know when it opened, but unfortunately, already seeing signs of wear and tear. The floor has been painted, and the barstools are chipping into that (Which is unfortunate). The chairs are insanely uncomfortable. The barstools and the chairs in the bar area I would stay away from. I’m not sure how they’re gonna get red wine off of that fuzzy couch(!!!)
A couple of misses were the size of the plates. Way too small and the service staff had to keep changing them out. But the “table”couldn’t really accommodate anything bigger.
I do have to say that the bar menu lacked luster. I’m just gonna leave it at that.
The seafood tower was way overpriced for what came.
The uni pasta needs to be discussed. Where was the Uni? Unfortunately, I felt the ginger and basil way overpowered this dish.
Please skip the chocolate cake, it tastes like an old school ding dong.
The staff… A little bit snooty, not very warm and not terribly informative. Also, our check came without being asked if we needed anything else. Just odd.
Kind of a one and done for me. I wouldn’t say it was a “comfortable” experience, but I could see people going for the gram!
Oh, and by the way, you can barely hear due to the bounce of noise off of all the hard surfaces and the loud music. Nothing soft to absorb sound unfortunately.
I recommend eating outside in the back where it was much quieter and potentially the chairs were more comfortable. The bar area, though beautiful, is difficult to have conversations.
Uni on the seafood platter and the fish dip were the absolute standouts!

We had a fantastic experience at Cento Raw Bar from start to finish. The seafood was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor — easily some of the best we’ve had. The raw bar selection was outstanding, and every dish we tried exceeded expectations.

The service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. The atmosphere was stylish yet comfortable, making it a perfect spot for both a special night out or a relaxed dinner.

Highly recommend Cento Raw Bar if you’re looking for top-quality seafood, great vibes, and an overall memorable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The aesthetics were so strong that I thought it might overshadow the food, but that wasn’t the case at all.

From the deviled eggs we started with, to the mosaic cheesecake we finished with everything was beautiful and delicious! Definitely get the uni pasta with Dungeness crab it was AMAZING
