Food was great. We got the Branzino/gnocchi/asparagus and the manicotti. Both were excellent. Especially the Branzino and it’s lemon sauce. They also do asparagus very well. Like, they lightly peel the bottom ends that are usually kinda fibrous, so the texture is nice throughout. Nice ambiance and staff too.

Delicious food at good prices with big portions! Service is great and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Walked in with no reservation on a Thursday evening and were seated right away. Would totally come back and highly recommend!

Visited about a week ago for a Saturday dinner, and the place was pretty packed. That aside, the food was delicious (I got the penne alla vodka) and I ate every bit. Prices were pretty reasonable for a restaurant. also, the lemon sorbet was just wonderful!

Cent’Anni is a staple of the neighborhood that I’ve lived in for years now, which says something considering all the places that have come and gone in that time. The vibe is a mix of old and new Brooklyn, cozy ambience of dimmed lighting and wood furnishings with tasty modern cocktails and cool staff. This is where my husband and I like to go for impromptu date nights, but I also came here for NYE with some friends this year and it was exactly what I hoped for. Such a friendly and celebratory vibe, they decorated and gave out hats/glasses/beads/etc., and they booked live musicians to play the whole night. They had a special menu (the lobster ravioli and the octopus were awesome!) and kept the cocktails flowing (think pink was tasty!). The staff here are always very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The pasta was underwhelming. I’ve certainly had much better around town. The Buratta was a gorgeous serving and very delicious. The salad was also a bit underwhelming. The cocktails looked fun, but we didn’t partake. The staff was friendly and the place itself is very cute. The backyard is definitely worth sitting in. Everyone was kind and attentive but the food didn’t make much of an impression on me. I wouldn’t be opposed to trying something else, but there isn’t much pulling me back aside from maybe wanting to try their cocktails.
All in all, it’s cute and the staff is friendly but the food didn’t meet my expectations.

Visited this place for lunch after Brooklyn Botanical Garden. It took us about 10min walk. Very cozy and nice vibe and food was amazing too! Texture of handmade pasta was pretty good and worth trying. We got pretty full and missed a chance to try tiramisu but would love to come back again!

I’ve been here multiple times before and I’m kicking myself for never having written a review. Cent’Anni is truly a gem. Their backyard is so special and the indoor ambiance is low key and great.
What keeps me coming back is their delicious food! I love their chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy.
This time I got their liver pate crostini for my appetizer. My boyfriend ordered the skirt steak with arugula and Parmesan cheese and the tomato and basil crostini. Everything was delicious as always!
Their service is great too!

Centanni had been my go-to Italian in Crown Heights for years. It’s very cute (though the indoor tables are a bit crowded now), I love the covered patio, and enjoy the food. It can sometimes vary in quality as I think they’ve had different chefs at different times. Shout out to their gluten free pasta option and yummy affordable brunch.
