It was an amazing experience indeed.
We went for a breakfast buffet prior to heading out to ski. Everything we ate were very appetizing, well seasoned and tasted so fresh. The restaurant is well lit, very clean and inviting. Most of all, the staff were very friendly, knowledgeable with what they serve and very accomodating. Servers Billy and Mye are the best, keep it up

Went to La Cena the beginning of December 2025 with my co-worker and we both had a wonderful meal! The ambiance was clean and had a relaxing vibe. The manager came to check in on us to make sure we were taken care of. Our waiter kevin was very nice and helpful with explaining the menu, and gave the BEST dessert suggestion!

Wow! Cena is an amazing experience! We ordered a dozen or so menu items and every. single. one. was absolutely delicious. It seems like they specialize in dishes that are hard to get *just* right, and they NAILED it every time. At the top of our list were the lamb osso buco, the bucatini, the duck, and the warm apricot cake. Everything was cooked and plated to perfection, and the atmosphere was lovely. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We can’t thank Kevin, Shanika, and Chloe enough for their attention to detail and exceptional service. Host Francisco and manager Justice made us feel like family and were the cherry on top of a truly lovely evening. Cena has instantly become one of our new favorites! (In full transparency, it was a bit hard to hear during our meal… but this is honestly the only, very minor, thing we can even think of to ‘complain’ about). We will most certainly be back, (again and again)!

I had a wonderful off-season lunch here with a business partner. Light, but accommodating lunch menu. Wonderful bartender, Kade, who we have to give a big shout-out to! Kade, it gave truly exceptional service with great attentiveness. He made us some wonderful local cocktails with Dented Brick Vodka & Gin.

We came here after a full day of skiing and split a few of their pizzas. They are delicious and definitely big enough to fill two people. We tried the margarita pizza, the pepperoni, and the prosciutto pizza. Excellent service as well.

Ordered a bunch of food. 35 minutes later all the food came out at once. Why not bring the apps out first? Prices are too high for the quality of food. We had to mix our own salad… We are from NY so maybe our expectations were higher.

Italian focused cuisine you can’t pass up the next time you’re visiting Deer Valley! From the apps to the main course and dessert, everything we had during our visit was exceptional. The restaurant recently went through a re-model now with a more modern ski chalet look that’s inviting to all.
Notable standouts: the Housemade Burrata, Cacio e Pepe & Bucatini, and the Chicken Parm were all great!

Thought the food was really good. Calamari was tender and not over cooked. Duck was excellent. My wife had the catch of the day and really enjoyed it. Server forgot our side and it was a bit loud in the dining room, but that’s not enough to affect my rating. Would definitely go back.

Oof. This place went down hill. Been here before and it was really good. The staff and service are great, the atmosphere is good, but that food. Meat balls and spaghetti… blah. Chicken parm… blah. Lamb was good but the risotto it was paired with not so much. Need to be buttoned up a bit.
