If you’re in Bend, Oregon, you gotta check out Cellar 65—Bend’s best speakeasy. It’s a family-owned spot where everyone in the family is incredibly talented. The food is amazing; Kamal runs the kitchen and makes dishes that’ll make you want to keep eating past the point of being full. The cocktails? Adam’s the guy behind the bar, a total cocktail connoisseur who creates the most delicious, perfectly balanced drinks I’ve ever had.
Seriously, eating here makes you feel like royalty, from the top-notch quality of the food to the killer service. Five stars, no doubt!
The menu has a pretty good selection of new and classic cocktails. Didn’t try the food but it sounded pretty good.
It was pretty quiet but had nice conversation with a couple at the bar and the owner for awhile. Very nice person.
The drinks were very tasty especially the Smokey Oaxacan!
Will for sure come back and check out next time I’m in town.
When you want a chill, speakeasy vibe with wonderfully worldly food offerings, creative cocktails and Mocktails and a wine list to match your desires, this is the place.
Tapas inspired offerings daily with a once monthly special dinner focused on a specific country. Past countries have been Morocco and Spain, upcoming towards the end of the month is France.
For sure put this in your list of cool places to go when the high-energy, high-price vibe is not on your mind. Perfect for couples, small groups, private parties.
Like I said – Bends Best Kept Secret and likely will stay super chill as finding it takes intent.
Just below Blissful Spoon on Greenwood, very near the east side of the Newport Ave bridge. On the backside of Bend Brewing Co., same parking lot as Sen Hot Pot. Just use your map app to get there and look for the door under the stairs.
Not for kids, not for wheelchairs. Yes for delicious.
This place has an incredible atmosphere and is such a beautiful hidden gem in Bend.
The waitress and bartenders were really great and you could tell they were enjoying themselves which made the experience even better.
I would highly recommend trying their Smoky Oaxacan which had a beautiful balance of flavors and The Saffron Chicken Tajine was absolutely mouth watering.
I’m sad I don’t live closer to this amazing spot but I promise I will be back! 🙂
